Trinh Chung Kathy is the best stylist I’ve ever had! She truly listens, understands my vision, and executes it flawlessly. She even provides helpful feedback and takes into account my hair type and face/neck shape to adapt my desired style. Every visit is fantastic! Her precision, creativity, and knowledge really sets her apart from other stylists Ive had. My hair always looks and feels amazing, and I get so many compliments! At every opportunity I get, I always tell people to come to Salon 44 to see Kathy. Plus, her warm personality makes every appointment enjoyable.

Victoria Trinh I am very particular about how my hair is cut and finding a stylist that understands my vision. I have long, straight, Asian hair that requires someone that knows how to cut and style it in a flattering way that doesnt cause split ends or damage. If you are a person that falls into this category, I highly recommend stopping by Salon 44! Every experience I have had has been professional, thoughtful, and thorough. The staff are welcoming, the space is clean, and I always leave feeling like I just met with a great friend.

Keaton Dooley After moving from Seattle to Kirkland, I was on the hunt for a salon that is close to me, has fair market prices, and good quality work. I landed on this salon, and Im so glad I did! Tee has done an amazing job on my haircut both times Ive visited. She gave me exactly what I asked for, and she is easy to chat with, which makes my visits a fun experience! Added bonus-- they offer free garage parking, taking all the stress of a parking hunt away.

Mrunal Hirve My friend recommended this salon to me for my first visit, and I had Som as my stylist for a cut and color. She was incredibly gentle with my hair and made sure to fulfill all my requests. I loved my haircut—it was the perfect length I asked for. I showed her a picture for the hair color, and she matched it perfectly. Som is clearly skilled and passionate about her work, which reflects in the results. I’m extremely happy with the service and would definitely recommend her!

Evelyn Mineo Reading the reviews and then speaking with the salon, I made an appointment to have my fine, shorter hair styled. I was explicit in my needs. I didn’t want my hair shorter. I wanted it to look fuller! Son scoffed at my previous haircut and agreed to fulfill my request, saying that she was evening out my hair. . My second visit, I again fully stated my wishes, saying I only wanted a TRIM! And that I wanted my hair to look FULLER. I almost went into shock when I saw that the back of my head had shorter hair than a military recruit when she was finished. There is NO style. It will take many months before anything can be done to make me whole again. As my good friend remarked, in shock, when she saw me, “what was she thinking”? I am considering buying a wig to wear until this awfulness grows out.

K Shima (Shima) I’ve been seeing Gagan for facials, and she’s amazing! Her skincare knowledge is top-notch, and she always tailors treatments to my needs. Her space is incredibly clean and relaxing, making each visit feel like a mini escape. Gagan is friendly, professional, and truly cares about her clients. Highly recommend!

Pranoti Shanbhag Gagan did makeup+hair for my friend and she looked stunning on her engagement day which took me to her. I had her do my hair and makeup for a family photo shoot and she did an amazing job again. The pictures came out very well. She knows what she is doing and keeps checking on your comfort level giving you a natural touch up. Will be going back for future events :-)

Jeffery Watson I’ve been going to the salon for my eyebrow grooming for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! As a guy who never really paid much attention to my eyebrows before, I was a bit unsure at first, but the salon really knows how to shape them in a way looks natural and sharp. The salon is incredibly professional, friendly, and takes the time to understand exactly what I want. They use a tailored approach to my face shape and style, ensuring my eyebrows are neat but still masculine. It’s clear they know the nuances of men’s grooming, and I always leave feeling more polished without looking like I’ve had work done. The salon itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and always make sure I feel relaxed during the process. I really appreciate how they take the time to explain aftercare and make great product recommendations. If you’re a guy looking for expert eyebrow grooming that’s both subtle and sharp is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend them!

D Jenni The hair stylist, David, is very experienced and knowledgeable. We had 3 different sessions that went from consulting my hair type (I have fine hair so it’s easily damaged), to bleaching with care, to getting the final results of silver hair. David is very patient and friendly, he would give me recommendations and provide many options for me to choose from in order to receive the best results possible as well as caring about my hair and scalp health. I am very pleased dying my hair at Morning Salon and will definitely come back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Still in love with the results!

Runting Shao It’s Chinese new year the salon I usually went to is temporarily closed so I just feel like trying out a new hair salon. I made an appointment yesterday for 1:30 pm today and the barber offered 1pm himself so I said sure I am fine with 1pm. I got to the salon at 1, right on time, surprisingly realized he was help some other customer. So I waited for 25 mins and ran out of patience and I left. What is the point of having appointments if you are expecting your customer to wait for so long??? If you are expected to be busy at 1, why are you offering 1pm appointment? I have to say I am really disappointed and I would hope the owner would consider respecting others valuable time. And I promise I will never go back and would not recommend this salon to anyone

Dbl Mnt2 I worked with Steven for a constant temperature perm and love my results. He took his time and made sure my hair was healthy to avoid any breakage. I love the results and highly recommend anyone who would like a modern perm to come to this salon. The pics don’t look as good as in person! Just super impressed. Thank you MBS!

Divya Mathew Ive passed by Hair Studio 18 quite a number of times and one day decided to stop by for a consultation and prices and spoke with Dana. I read the positive reviews about the salon and specifically her, and decided to give them a try and Im so happy I did. Dana is a magic worker with a sweet soul :) She is a talented hair professional with extensive experience. I got a hair cut, balayage and a keratin treatment done here. For context, I have thick, black, frizzy Indian hair and wanted a sleek but natural look and she delivered it. She told me exactly what to expect, calmed my anxities(mostly because of bad experience in the past). She answered my questions and never lost patience, she even shared haircare tips. I bought the shampoo and conditioner that she recommended from the salon but it was not a sales pitch in anyway. You can tell that Dana genuinely cares about her clients and strives to achieve the results they want. She did her magic and Voila! (See pics for results.) I get so many compliements for my hair, all thanks to Dana :) Ive found my stylist! P.S- This is washed and dried keratin treated hair with a dark balayage, as per my request.

Isabella Davie I’ve gotten my hair cut here a few times and they’ve always done such a wonderful job. I decided to get my hair colored here and Trang went above my expectations. I wanted part of the under layer of my hair to be blonde, almost silver and she was able to reach that with one session in about 3 hours. She was very mindful with the sectioning as well and placed the bleach in a way where I wouldn’t have to worry too much about regrowth. Will definitely come here again for whenever I decide to switch up my hair.

neha I am very happy with my haircut after a long time. This was my first time at hair studio 18 and Dana gave me a beautiful layered haircut. She was on time and very friendly. She understands Indian hair texture and hair type. I am definitely coming again. :)

Samantha Williams Susan did an excellent job cutting my thick, textured hair. She is really skilled at what she does and took the time to go back and make adjustments to get the cut just perfect. Shes also super friendly and easy going and the salon itself is a really welcoming and bright environment. I will definitely be back!

Christi Susan is so kind and the best stylist for my long, thick hair! She first helped me fix a botched haircut that grew in unevenly and gave me tips for taking care of it. I’ve been going for about 2 years now and love my haircut every time.

Victoria Wan-yu Weng Pei is very professional and passionate of her job, and she communicates with clients to make sure they get the style they want. She gave me advice base on the type of my hair and how to take care of it properly. I absolutely love the way how she cut and dye my hair. The studio is located at the ground floor of a luxury condo, it’s very clean and quiet. I definitely will come back for her outstanding service and fair price.

Michelle G I always enjoy coming here because Pei is professional and makes sure her customers’ satisfaction. She communicated with me to make sure what I would like to do first. She always offers different options for hair products without chemical ingredients and I trust her. It’s best to make an appointment ahead of time and she is flexible. Being a loyal customer for years, I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good hairstylist.

Brian Taylor Poorly Managed. Do NOT waste your time with this salon. I scheduled an appt online then 3 days later I get this text message: "Appointment cannot be accommodated due to: [blank]" So I called to schedule an appt over the phone with a human, then 3 days later I get this text message: "Appointment cannot be accommodated due to: [stylist name] is not taking any new mens clients" 1st message: no reason given 2nd message: why schedule me, then cancel me knowing that I am a new client & a man from the get-go

Mercedes Crary OMG book with Jozie! I could not be happier with the cut and color service she provided me. I have very fine and straight hair with no volume, and lots of damage that is takes forever to grow. Jozie listened to what I wanted and then upgraded my vision by 20x, just as a professional should. I went in with bright yellow money pieces and about 15 different shades of brown and blonde in my hair and she brought me to a beautiful chocolate brown with a fabulous blow out, and the trim she gave me didn’t compromise any of the length i have been maintaining. Professional, perfectionist, and she upgrades your vision. Please, just book with Jozie!! You won’t regret it!!

Swati Choudhury I went in for a haircut and Stephanie was amazing! She is brilliant at what she does and is a such a cheerful vibe. I had really long hair and chopped it short! She kept mentioning little details while styling and consulted at each step. I was so satisfied with the final outcome and highly recommend Stephanie!

Taylor Stopped in today just to check it out and look at prices for a haircut ; and they took me in (due to the stylist being ahead of schedule)! My stylist was Mari and she was so sweet and my hair feels SO HEALTHY! She was very intricate with her cuts and I REALLY appreciated that. A lil pricey (but it’s Bellevue and Bellevue has ridiculous rent for businesses so it’s understandable). She took into account how I part my hair on a daily basis and I feel no other stylist has been able to really succeed in doing so. Will definitely be back!!

Darian Carson Ive been coming here for more than a year now. I see Heidi Wipf but I think there are several stylists here that are very good too. I usually come in for a root touch up but I have also done all-over color, hair cut, and Brazilian blowout. Im still coming back. I get good advice and great styling. Its a relaxing but efficient time when you go to Salon Bella.

Liz Utuk Agnes is wonderful! I bring both of my girls to her. She knows how to cut curly, highly textured hair. She has also taught me how to properly care for their hair which has been a god send. They have mixed hair, got their kinky curls from their dad and I had been struggling trying to find the right products and styles. Agnes has been helping to teach through their hair appointments how to best take care of their different curls. She is very kind and very gifted. I highly recommend her and I will be seeing her soon for myself since my curl pattern has gotten weird after my last pregnancy. Let her work her magic on my locks.

La Tisha Simmons When I got to Agnes, my hair was very unhealthy. She put the love back into my hair and helped it grow better than what it was. I don’t believe my hair has ever been this healthy in a long time. I’m very pleased with her work. I’d say her work is 10/10. Highly recommended.

yubo li Jovial Studio is hands down the best hair studio I’ve been to nationwide! Eric is incredibly patient and brings a unique combination of aesthetic vision and creativity to every session. I’ve tried many studios in major cities like DC and LA, but Eric’s work stands out above them all. Plus, he has the cutest dog in the studio, which adds to the peaceful and relaxing vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for exceptional service and a top-notch experience!

Sandra Ye Qing Jiang Eric is amazing at making sure your cut is exactly how you want it AND also at providing helpful suggestions that go with your face shape and hair texture. I’ve gotten my hair cut by him 3 times so far and each time I’ve gotten so many compliments from random people on the street. Also, the way Eric cuts the hair last a lot longer meaning the cut looks fresh for multiple months even when it’s growing out! I’d highly recommend Eric (also his massage hair washing chair is AMAZING!)

Jessica Chen Eric is the best barber I have ever met in this area. He always knows what kind of haircut fits you well. Also, he can do amazing hair coloring. Just give him a picture of the hairstyle you want, and he will never let you down.

B Khongorzul Gabi gives the best layer hair cut of all the hair stylists I have visited till date. She asked politely what you want to be done with your hair and does her magic perfectly. Also, it was my first time this short hair cut, and I was not sure it’s good on me. But she told me that it fits on me perfectly, and it is as she said. She was very sweet, paying attention on every detail and her taste to styling hair is perfect by focusing on clean layered cutting which helped me to easily style it by myself. If someone want to try new hair style or cut and doesn’t know which haircut, Gabi will offer perfect recommendations for you. It was a great, great experience overall.

Hannah Nguyen Gabi gave me the best relaxing head spa treatment: she massaged my head and neck using professional, good-smelling products. She made sure I was comfortable and even gave me a snack after everything! She also cut and styled my hair to my ideals, amazing experience.

Shannon Khem Best hair service I’ve had! I came yesterday and had an appointment with Gabi. She cut, washed, and did a root/volume perm along with a digital perm for me. She explained the process to me and I can tell she was very detailed. I gave her a couple reference pictures, but told her I pretty much wanted a permanent blowout look and she gave me exactly that. Love that she also gave me styling tips on properly caring for my new hair and made it all work with the hair I came in with! Can’t recommend Gabi enough

Lilly Jones The business itself seemed clean and nice enough, but the stylist I saw did not give me the cut I asked for. I showed her 4 pictures of the style I wanted and she ended up cutting WAY too much of my length off and the cut I ended up with was not anything I asked for. Cant even get my hair into a ponytail now to hide this mess. SO UPSET!!

The threading was completely painless, and the facial was so relaxing—she also gave a great massage! Roop is super friendly and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. S B I had a great experience today at Roop Beauty Studio! I got eyebrow threading and a full face wax and the entire experience was painless and comfortable. I’m especially grateful that she went above and beyond to make sure that I didn’t break out after the wax! I will definitely come back again.

Sarah Came to Charlie for an emergency fix from a different stylist who gave me "balayage" when it was really highlights. I am so impressed with what Charlie was able to do in our 3.5 hour session (balayage/tone, haircut)! Hes a master at his technique - one way you can tell is he is checking your posture and head positioning as you go to make sure your haircut is even. Ive been to a handful of stylists in the past and only the good ones do that. Hes no nonsense and totally locked in on your hair - which is exactly what I would expect from a stylist. Hes fair, straightforward, and takes great care in his craft. Ill be back Charlie! (top photo is now, bottom photo is before)

Bourefleys Reef It was an okay experience. $100+ for a simple haircut. The hairdresser was professional looking. He seemed so busy with his phone and I felt like he didn’t pay attention to my hair as much. I showed him a picture but he did it in his own way. The end result was tolerable but I didn’t like it as much. Now I have to just wait for my hair to grow out.

Jason Chu Ive been visiting Charlie for years to get haircuts, and he always treats me well. His cuts are consistently perfect, as he truly pays attention to detail. Highly recommend visiting him!
