Lucas Guzman Tamara is great at what she does, definitely try to get her because shes a wizard with those shears! Teniles also is an ambassador salon for wigs for kids! So if you have 10-12+ plus inches of hair to spare, might as well go see these guys and let them help you donate it for a child in need. Couldnt be happier with my experience at this salon.

Pete Pineda Awesome stylists and business. My son and I continually get bad hair cuts and his happened to be the day before school finally went live. Teniles saved the day. I quick call on a weekend and they were able to fit him in. He was so happy with the results and insists we start going there from now on. Thank you! You have a life long client if you will have us.

Grace Parcel I’ve had Nikki at Roots do my hair for about 8 years now and I love it every time!! The new salon is amazing and comfortable!! She is capable of doing just about anything. From prom hair to choosing a color she’s amazing.

Jill Gardner Nikki is amazing. She is a terrific stylist but more importantly she is a terrific person. I get compliments all the time from random strangers and I have Nikki to thank for that. She listens to your random thoughts about what you want and somehow manages to bring it all together. I love her passion and her courage.

Rebecca Loren Linda is absolutely one of the best people I’ve ever met. She takes care of my eyebrows, eyeliner, toes, fingernails and my daughter nails. She never skips steps on cleaning procedures. I have an allergy to acrylic nails and she has worked me to find a product that works for Me. She is the only one I allow my daughter to get her nails done at.

Krista Maé The staff at Pretty Please are exceptional individuals, and they are professionals at what they do. I have personally used Lisa Apo for my manicures, and Sierah Coleman for my hair cuts and color! It is a friendly place to go, and Id highly recommend visiting or stopping by to see for yourself!

Christie M Amazing simply amazing. Kayla was great and my hair looks so healthy and it was exactly what I wanted. Short hair is hard to cut and she got it 100%. Linda the cosmetic tattooist is the most knowledgeable person Ive ever met. She has such a talent. Love this place.

Rachelle Scott Kristen was direct and to-the-point from the booking process until the end. The quality of her work was better than what I received in Bellevue (I had come here to fix a botched haircut I got in Bellevue). Did not try to talk my ear off, seemed to be running everything by herself at the moment. Price was also competitive

Erin Greene Probably drove by this place at least a thousand times. Took a chance on them and needed a quick root touch up before heading off to San Francisco. Kristin was very friendly and professional. She understood what I wanted and their price is reasonable. Worth checking out!

Mark Lammers Im a military recruiter here in town and Ive been working in Longview for about a year and a half. Great Clips and other barber shops in the area do not compare to how well she cuts hair. I typically dont like to converse while Im getting a haircut but our conversations are always pleasant and enjoyable. You cannot beat her price with the quality of haircut that you get! I dont style my hair but once I leave, I feel like a new man with the gel she uses! I 100% recommend to anyone and everyone. Ive never had a negative experience in the year and a half Ive been coming here!!!!!

Johann Peters She is wonderful! Like any barber the first time is getting to know you and then after the first session and beyond she is consistent and stellar knowing exactly what you want! Also she is busy so getting on phone live or returning calls is rough but just go on down and get in line and watch the amazing results! She will remember you and know exactly what to do or if you want to switch it up for a new look and adjust she will be equally awesome!

carl20320 Kim had developed an excellent atmosphere in the shop and is an excellent barber. There is now a 2nd barber (Chloe) and Saturday hours (10-3)

Eric Willock Great barber, well above my expectations. Went in for beard trim and a haircut, was completely satisfied. I brought both my sons and between the three of us we all had different level hair cuts, they all turned out amazing. Edit: Came in for another cut and trim, just as great as last time, Kim does excellent work. My sons had their hair done by Chloe, she also did an incredible job, for both of them.

Heidi Smith Amanda always does a fantastic job! My hair can be tricky due to curls, and she has always cut it well. I also brought in my other family members with their own unique challenges, and the next day my son proclaimed that Amanda had given him the best haircut he’s ever had. I am grateful she was able to correct issues created from previous poor haircuts!

Aria Brooks Great experience with this salon! I went in for my first time for a haircut and brow wax. I was in and out quickly and got exactly what I was looking for! Their location was easy to find and had plenty of available parking. Im looking forward to making another appointment for color in the next few weeks. Ill update my review after that.

Donna Urena Brianne is amazing! She is very willing to listen to my ideas and make suggestions that are far better then my ideas! She know so much about hair!! I have curly hair and have never had my hair cut correctly until Brianne. She is always positive and upbeat. The salon is decorated really nice, very clean, and parking is easy. The other stylists are super friendly too! This is the best salon ever!!!

Kaitlyn Hort I went in for a donation cut with Dani and truly cannot recommend her or Envy enough. Taking about 2 ft of hair off is always going to be a shock to the system, but I so appreciated how Dani took her time and made sure I loved the cut I left with. She is a master of comfortable small talk and was so knowledgeable and helpful with styling suggestions and product recommendations. My new short hair is much curlier than I ever expected! The salon itself was clean, comfortable, and relaxed. Everyone I encountered there was easygoing and friendly. After years of searching, I think Ive found my hair salon home ♡

Cathy Brockmueller Brianne did my color and cut and I was extremely happy with it. She also offered good advice as to what I wanted vs what my hair would do. Definitely will be back!

Kim Benson She was exceptional! I called and made an appointment for the following day. I am new to the area. I went for a hair cut and color. For my daughters wedding. I also had a mani pedy, and my face waxed. When I went home my husband was so impressed. He was all smiles. Said I looked 20 years younger. I would recommend visiting her salon.

Albo Ann (Ann) She is our (me and daughter) go-to person for haircut and color! Always satisfied with everything she does. She makes recommendations if the style you pick would look good on you. She is blunt if it doesnt! She does it in a nice way, though, so its all good. Gets busy most of the time but thats how you know she does great work!

Kessiah Daggett The owner is a wonderful woman and she does a great job! She really cares about what her customers want and is really easy to talk to. Great prices as well! Also have gotten my sons hair cut here and she does well with kids too!

Amber Hayes I took my daughter here to color her hair for the first time. The owner did a great job keeping in touch before the appointment to make sure she had the right color my daughter wanted. She checked on her through the whole process and made sure she was comfortable through everything. I will absolutely return to her to have things done in the future.

Jami Waters I went to Jen for the first time yesterday for a full color and cut. I have heard great things about Black Lotus from past customers, so I was excited to give them a shot! When I arrived Jen was very sweet and professional, she sat down and really listened to what I was looking for in my new style. The salon was very cute, clean, and well maintained. I was super comfortable the whole time. The color and cut turned out amazing and I will definitely be going back! I highly recommend Jen at Black Lotus!

Bridget May Schrader Rachel did a great job. Quite a bit of my hair fell out back in October. Rachel took her time, making sure she colored all the little hairs growing back. She was careful not to damage my hair in its fragile state. Im very pleased with her work :)

Julianna Millhone Amazing salon! I called and they got me an appointment right away for the time I needed. The service was spectacular. Brynna did my hair and she was amazing. I left super happy. She did everything i wanted. I will definitely be returning!

Lori Conner I do not want to name names, but I feel like a stylist should be okay with saying that they can’t handle your hair. NO stylist says, “This isn’t going to be a perfect cut”, which was said to me AFTER my hair was ruined. . My long hair was ruined. If you have long hair, DO NOT go to Pals!! I’m 56 years old, so there is NOT enough years in my life for it to grow back! Big hunk cut out of the back of my head…why?!!! Go to Pals if you don’t have hair below your shoulders! They only know cuts that are 2” or less! I trusted them…now I wear a beanie daily! The bottom of my hair was thinned out so badly that I need it chopped to just below my shoulders. It WAS to my knees!!! Any of you trying to grow your hair KNOW it takes YEARS to grow it to that length! Do NOT go to Pals!!

Samantha Brock I’ve taken my son here a couple of times, but yesterday was a first for me, I went from a old bleach grown out blonde to a natural red. Niko was great! It turned out beautiful, he was super kind and I’ve never been happier with my hair! My kid also love his hair cut from Rachel (I think was her name) was super sweet and patient.

Martha Larson This is an excellent salon in every respect. Great customer service, friendly atmosphere, appointments are on time, texting services are available, salon is clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished and the hair styling is superb. For 75 years I have had to use hairspray and either perm my hair or wear a ponytail. Now my stylist has cut it in such a way that my hair always goes back into place when the wind blows or after I get up in the morning. No more bad hair days and I love being free if spray. I love my stylist, but all are excellent. Everyone walks out of that salon looking fantastic, including older women like myself who have thinning, fly away hair. My daughter referred me to this salon and my young granddaughter told me I should try her stylist, as I was always so envious of my granddaughters cuts. She assured me her stylist did a great job on older women and she was right!

Derek Benson Amazing hair salon. Everyone was very friendly. Got my haircut by Brandy, and she was amazing! Great conversation and a great haircut. She also does a great Scalp massage. Highly recommend!

Crystal Cowles I had the most amazing color and cut here! I had a free consult where we decided what colors and cut would look best on my very long blonde hair. She listened to my every concern and addressed them head on. The colors turned out vibrant, and Im obsessed with the cut! The best part was the owners dog that kept me company for part of my appointment!

Katherine Morgan First time at Halo was amazing! Everything about the experience: the boutique, the vintage clothing shop upstairs, bright atmosphere, complimentary snacks, and hair care - it was impressive and on point. Leanna was so welcoming and knowledgeable, and she was really helpful in explaining everything she was doing to my hair so I could follow along, which was awesome for someone who doesnt get to a salon very often. I will definitely back at Halo for my next cut!

Teisha Reeves The salon is a vibe as soon as you walk in, the atmosphere was calming & welcoming and I felt comfortable during my first experience having my hair done in a salon. Every detail of the aesthetic was amazing, the salon is beautiful and you can tell the owner Leanna really put her heart into making it a space she, her employees and her clients will love to be in. The customer service is great, complimentary snacks/drinks, the boutique, all the different beauty services; Halo has everything! I will be returning to get pampered again!

Quinn ive been here 3-4 times in total and every visit i left with some disappointment. for how high i tipped, i expected medicore styling at worst. i originally came in for dreadlocks, but christine never finished the ends. came in for another appointment for a touch up. she brought some dread jewelry which was nice but all of it fell out over a short period of time. when i had to get my dreads removed, i asked that she just cut it off and give what was left a neat trim. but it was very uneven. the part of my head that wasnt dreaded, she always made that part of my hair thin out at the bottoms. i cant speak for the other stylists but if you dont want to look like your hair is thinning out then i reckon to not let christine touch your hair. its a shame because this is the only place within the longview/chehalis area that im aware of that even does dreadlocks :/

Carla Sanchez I LOVE this salon. I found this place several months ago and I have had the opportunity to get a few styles done here . I like to change my hair up frequently, and Kim is always excited to look at photos I bring in, talk about styling techniques for me to do on my own between visits and I always leave confident that I can follow her suggestions, and I always walk out of there with the exact look I wanted. She always greets me like she’s genuinely happy to see me and I have actually done “walk- in” a couple of times and she has worked me in . Her salon is always very clean. My cuts there have been perfect. Razor cuts, shaved undercuts, she kept me looking good through an undercut grow out to a textured pixie cut and I get so many compliments on my hair and compliments on how healthy my hair looks too. I have found my stylist finally ! THANK YOU Kim!!! My hair looks amazing ! By the way, she does a great job on the husbands hair too .

AJ Lane My husband and I came here for the tanning beds last year, and were very pleased. The beds are clean and the bulbs always seem brandnew. They also carry a good array of tanning lotions. Kim is great. She has the best personality and is generous and accomodating. Shes exactly the kind of business owner we want to support. Its 4 thumbs up from us!

jennifer Lopez Disappointing experience! The technician last-minute cancelled my appointment, so I rescheduled for a 3-week fill. However, when I came in today, I was surprised to find Id lost a significant number of lashes on one eye. The technician informed me that Id have to pay full price for a new set, despite offering 3-week fill options, and I just didn’t have enough to pay for a full set so we rescheduled on my next fill date. she then offered me $20 off my next appointment - but didnt apply it to the removal fee I paid today. The technician removed my remaining lashes for $20, which I expected. But I was taken aback by an additional $20 reschedule fee, which I wasnt aware of. If Id known, I wouldnt have had my lashes removed. The total cost of $40 for essentially nothing felt excessive. The lack of transparency about the reschedule fee and the initial cancellation has led me to cancel all future appointments

Melissa Johnson She cut it a good two inches shorter than I said, it was a fine length but still. It wasnt until I got home that I realized she left hair dye all over the back of my neck and behind my ears. Someone else not working on my hair (I think the owner) turned away two clients because they were "all booked" but then sat around talking non stop to me and kept shoving her phone in my face to look at pictures while getting my hair washed. Nope, never again.

Amanda Reynolds Knowledgeable and skillful nail technicians, very clean and tidy. I appreciated the professionalism and adherence to universal precautions, and the attention to detail. They protect their workers from bloodborne pathogens by wearing gloves and sanitizing the area, and also have single use nail files and the like. My manicure looks wonderful and feels solid. I will definitely return.

fred sanford My barber was Kollete, she did a very good job and was super gentle. I have had haircuts all over and I felt really comfortable. She free handed the fade which was new and unsettling at first but she absolutely nailed it. She even cleaned up my right side and didn’t leave awkward hairline below the hard line.

Dorathea Mayen I saw Kristy. And she was FANTASTIC. very personable, kind and really digs into what you want done. She took me from my tired natural brown to that mermaid Ariel red my daughter was so excited for. I would 10/10 go back to see her. Update, I went back to Kristy a month later for a touch up. And a cut and she did great. She did everything I asked and more and im super happy with the cut. She lightened my hair significantly so I have no more heavy hair pulling down on My head and the texture is perfect. I still highly recommend

Debbie Green I followed Kollete all over the Portland metro area for many years. Then she moved to this location in Longview. Had a few other people cut my hair and guess what, I now drive about 45-50 minutes to Longview. She listens and cuts hair like you want it.

H H (Adelheid) My son wanted a styled mullet and they did decent cutting it. I went in a few weeks later wanting an A-line and walked out with my hair butchered, and looking like the Little Dutch Boy, literal same cut as the Little Dutch Boy. There is no A-line, it is straight across except for the gouged chunk missing in the back. My family and friends were even shocked at how bad the haircut was. Mens hair, they are okayish. Womens hair, dont risk it. People asked me if I pissed the hairstylist off to get such a bad cut.

The stylist listened to what my daughter wanted and delivered the style with grace. My daughter is very happy which makes me very happy. Thank you for a great haircut!

Debbie Hoadley So I’m pretty unhappy with my hair I thought long and hard about posting my review but when the stylist held up my tip to show her husband I really feel something needs to be said. My hair was colored dark red in the beginning and when I went back for a correction the stylist turned my roots green then had to add a mocha color to even it out well my hair looks awful and the cut is very uneven. I did not tip her well as I felt she did not know what she was doing in coloring my hair. Her husband was sitting right there which made me feel completely uncomfortable and I felt shamed for crappy tipping as she lifted up the amount I tipped to show him. I left in tears as I had a major surgery coming up and was stressed about the results of my hair. I will never return to this salon.

Shay H Don’t bother setting an appointment at the salon. I set an appointment for a bleach correction with a stylist who was supposedly great with bleach. Upon arriving the stylist was not planning to do the entire head though it was gone over when the appointment was set. Then said stylist thought it’d be a great idea to be rude to me and my 13 year old daughter.

Michelle Bean Greg is awesome! I had over bleached scraggly hair and I now have the cutest cut of my life and amazing colors. After he had to correct months of home bleaching. I’m so glad I came here. New to the area and with no one to help me find a good stylist, I chose JCPenney based off their reputation in general and google reviews. All of the hairdressers seemed to have a following, so you probably won’t go wrong with any of them. I HIGHLY recommend Greg though. He even massaged my head with the shampoo! I’ve never been so relaxed. I nearly fell asleep several times. And my hair looks amazing. It’s been 3 hours and I’ve received 12 compliments. Go see Greg, you’ll just feel better and look amazing

Megan I have curly hair and it’s really hard to find someone who can give me a good cut, I rolled the dice and just randomly booked a stylist and I got Taylor. She did so good! she took the time to really shape my hair and give me the volume I was looking for. So happy with my hair! Thanks Taylor
