Katie Williams Jenn has been my stylist for 6 years and I cant imagine going to someone else. She pays attention and listens to what I want and communicates how the style will look with my hair type. She has spent time investing in education for her trade and it shows. She has traveled up and down the West Coast as a Matrix instructor and is very knowledgable about all things color. I highly recommend her.

Cameron Harland Samantha did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was gorgeous!!! She worked so hard beforehand to make sure the hairdo was perfect for the big day. I’ve had my hair cut and balayaged here by Samantha and it came out amazing. I’ve also had the tape-in extensions done here. Amazing service, super nice ladies, and a comfortable environment! I love coming here!

Kelsi Hartley Samantha is a great stylist! I love the color she did on my hair and the fact she took her time in making sure my hair was trimmed properly. Im Always used to going in to a major salon chain where they are all just about the speed of service. She took her time in making sure I got the best cut and color she could give. The salon itself felt like you were getting your hair done from a friend, if you know what I mean. It was nice and comfortable. I look forward to booking my next appointment.

Peyton Voelker I truly hate writing bad reviews and I’ve been debating wether or not to even post this. The ladies there are absolutely wonderful and very sweet but unfortunately I’m unhappy with the way my haircut turned out :/ I came in for a trim, I just wanted a couple of inches off. I left the salon with my hair at least 4inches shorter, one side is noticeably shorter than the other, some pieces are longer than others throughout my hair, ultimately it wasn’t at all what I wanted it to look like. It breaks my heart to post this as I’m sure they do great business and their stellar reviews were the reason I chose them but I have to be honest, I won’t be going back.

Marci Miller I had a great experience with Leslie! I had questions about making an appointment and she got back to me right away. She is very professional and so easy to talk to! Will definitely go back.

Sandra adams Leslie is amazing she made me feel so welcome all her products she used had great smell The neck and shoulder was a great touch was sad that part was over If you want to be pampered make a appointment with Leslie you won’t be disappointed

Heidi Whipple Seriously the best! One small extra detail she did was map my daughters eyebrows out! No one has ever done that before and it made all the difference! She’s so lovely and very professional! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Darcy Anderson What a magical experience! The space is so inviting and you immediately feel welcome. Kimmy gives such thorough care. She reviewed all my concerns (some weren’t even about my skin!), and gave me the best recommendations to address my specific situation. We elected derma-planing and BioRePeel “no downtime chemical peel”. Kimmy explained each step and product, while making me comfortable. But the best part is my skin is glowing! I left feeling beautiful about myself- inside and out. I’m going back right away, I have a feeling quite frequently. Kimmy- you should be proud, you have created a gem of an oasis!

Chylsea Ostrand I recently had the pleasure of getting a facial from Kim at Island Skincare, and I cant recommend her enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed — her studio is absolutely beautiful and serene, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Kim took the time to really understand my skins needs and personalized my facial accordingly. Her knowledge of skincare is impressive, and she gave me so many great tips to continue taking care of my skin at home. The results were amazing — my skin looked radiant immediately after, and its only gotten better each day since. abigail eaton I lived out of town but was getting married in anacortes. day of my appointment she took an extra 30 minutes on my lashes to get them PERFECT for my wedding that was in three days!! then she gave me skincare goodies because I was breaking out. a literal angel!! my skin and lashes were perfect for my wedding and my lashes lasted for SO LONG. literally went on my honeymoon and was in the water everyday for two weeks and they were still flawless. book with her asap!!

If your current care is just mediocre you deserve more and should definitely call for an appointment that could literally be life changing!

Lisa Radziwanowicz Trish has been a great help in guiding me with my skin care. She is a highly trained nurse, always positive and friendly. She explains treatment options and is always available to answer questions. I highly recommend Anacortes Health and Aesthetics for your skin care/ aesthetic needs.

Betsy Diamond I think this is the best hair salon in Anacortes. Its true that Im new here and havent been to all of them but this place is fantastic! The owner has lots of experience and theyre very friendly and easy to talk to.

Audrey K Kimberly is amazing! I have some insecurities and anxiety so getting waxed has been a challenge. I found her online and booked due to the 5/5 reviews; everything was as good as they said and more. The second I walked in I felt at ease with the cozy and clean studio. She made me feel comfortable while also being professional. It is clear she is very well educated in her field of work. I won’t go anywhere else!

Sherri Caldwell Kim is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you first walk into the historic building and ascend the grand staircase to Studio Smooth, it’s an experience to look forward to: Professional, clean, inviting, and soothing for mind & body. Even before that, it’s so easy to make an appointment online and connect with Kim. I never expected to look forward to waxing, but I do at Studio Smooth.

Tara Anderson Brazilian, full face wax, and eyelash tint services were all stellar. Kimberly was very thoughtful in creating a clean and inviting space, using high quality wax, and a gentile touch which made this service as relaxing as a wax can be. She is a professional that clearly cares for her clients. She took her time to ensure things were done properly. It was easy to book online with the app, which also sent a nice appointment reminder to confirm. Convenient schedule offerings and flexibility for us ferry bound islanders. So glad I found this spot. Highly recommend!

Meagan Welsh I recommend that anyone with beauty spa needs go to Lacy! She very attentive to detail creating the spot on look I want, with that she also takes her time to do it right and never rushes. I also love that she’s very gentle so I’m always comfortable throughout the sessions! I have on and off had my lashes done by a couple artists over the years but never felt this satisfied with the look, comfort and overall experience of my appointments. I love my lashes so much, i look forward to my appointments and am so happy I found her business, Lacy knows exactly what she’s doing and is the best!

Logan Juve I saw Lacey for an ageless facial and brow tint. Let me tell you - she is amazing! The facial was such a relaxing experience. She asked about my preferences and skin history, and really seemed to customize the experience for me. As a busy mom, I really appreciated her extra care in making this a special and relaxing time in addition to caring for me skin. The spa itself was clean and comfortable and Lacey’s presence was so calming! Regarding the brow tint, holy wow! I have always been self-conscious about my light brows, but I emphasized to Lacey that I didn’t want anything too bold either. She absolutely NAILED IT! For the first time I feel - dare I say - HAPPY with my brows?! I’ll most definitely be going back regularly for this great service. Thank you!!!

Cezlie Campo I am not one to bash someone’s business on the internet, however, I believe the reviews were misleading and we 100% regret going to this barbershop. The second picture shows the approximate length of my fiancé’s hair (it had probably grown a few inches since this picture). The first picture is the picture shown to the stylist. He needed a trim and a shape up to his layers and unfortunately what he came back with was the last 3 pictures. At least 4 inches was removed from the length, if not more. The length is hair in now almost to his ear lobes when he asked for it to remain at his shoulders. I would not normally be so upset but we are getting married in 3 months and so much length was taken off that I do not think he will have time to grow it back. We were going to take engagement pictures next month and unfortunately that will not be happening. Besides the excessive length removal, the ends are choppy, there are chunks missing out of the ends, and it is un even. I have never been so disappointed in a barbershop before. I understand not every barber has the skill set to cut longer hair, however, there should have been more transparency about that or at the very least more communication with the client throughout the process and before chopping off several inches. I do not recommend going here if you have medium length hair.

Ian Angel Nixon I love a walk-in barbershop, two people in front of me and was taken care of within 15-20 minutes after I arrived. Fantastic experience and great barbers.

Noah Bell Awesome place, good atmosphere, good music. I went in there after being on the water for a few months so I was looking like a wild man, and got hooked up with a solid hair cut, a beard trim, eyebrows, and we all had a good laugh at just how much weight I lost. Definitely opt for the hot towel and the straight razor. Also, from what I can tell, there is always a wait, so your best bet is to be there 15 minutes before they open at 9

Sheila Thomas What I really appreciated about Lee was that he took his time and gave every part of the experience the personal touch. So many times I have felt rushed at The Barbers or hairdressers, but not with Lee. You get his full attention and hell ask you what you want every step of the way. My fade looks great! Update: score reduced from 5 to 4 stars because on closer inspection there were some asymmetries and a small missed spot with my fade. Overall great experience.

Joshua Eichelberger Absolutely worst haircut of my life. I am not that picky when it comes to a haircut. I asked for a fade- from skin to a 1. What I got was an uneven bowl cut that had chunks missing or not even cut. I asked 3 times to fix it and was told my head and hair didnt take a fade well. I got upset after the queer bashing and toxic masculinity conversation he offered. I immediately bought a hat afterward because I was too embarrassed to go out in public. I then found a different barber who was too booked to fit me in and offered to pay triple to fix the mess. Never again, and I definitely dont recommend it.

kaishapaul We just moved to anacortes and Lee was super busy but got my son in the same day..... 2 days before school started!! My son is 13 and Lee gave him the best haircut he has had ever. So thankful. We will definently be back.

Wow she makes you feel like youre an old school Barbershop where Barbara will actually talk to you you can talk about anything you want from politics to hunting its been 4 months since I found a decently priced Barber got my haircut looks great and even got my beard trimmed I havent found a barber that changed the back of your neck and around your ears with a straight razor forever I have one now and oh the final step the and shoulder massage wonderful to be honest Ill be back at least once a month to get my beard trimmed and every two months to get my haircut and beard trimmed awesome awesome

Paige Meridith They were going to balayage my hair WITHOUT any protectant. What kind of salon offers bleaching services but no chemical bonders? The woman who I had started my appointment with was very nice but after she sectioned my hair a woman I assume is the owner followed her to the back. I heard the owner say to my stylist "Now what does she want done?" in a tone that made me immediately start to worry. They both come back now owner starts touching my hair and saying "Yeah yeah so your hair wont fair well." I walked out. Reading the new reviews I am glad I did. $135 to wreck some ones hair knowingly is shameful. AVOID! Find a place that offers services that include professional grade technique especially if you are paying such high prices!
