5 /5 Kirsten Haynes: I decided to leave a review after I saw Mart only has 2 reviews (and one of them from a crazy serial 1 star reviewer). We met three different advisors before signing with Mart. We decided to go with him because he has three adult children on wildly different life paths and we got the sense that he wasn’t going to pigeon hole us into a one-size-fits-most investment strategy. He’s been great at making us feel like he’s taking a tailored approach based on what our goals have been. We’re active duty military family in our late 20’s and hired Mart to help us transition from dual-income-no-kids to single-income-with-kids. He’s been very knowledgeable and proactive. Aside from routine calls from him, he reaches out to us when CDs are about to mature or he finds good interest rates. His administrative assistant is also super friendly and has been helpful when we’ve had questions about paperwork.

1 /5 Michelle B: Went in for consultation. Only wants clients with at least $250,000 portfolio and regular contributions. I had just met this person, so I was not willing to commit anything to him until we were established. Which is what I explained to him. He said if younger people came in with less than 250k, that he would be ok with that. Obviously, I am closer to retirement than the younger group. The more we spoke, the more he started to suggest other people for me! Really??…!!! I really felt totally humiliated and like he was giving me the brush off!!! I finally stood up and let him know that I felt like I was getting the brush off!!! I felt that his main goal was to make money off me and I guess that I wasn’t worth his time! He isn’t a spring chicken either, I wonder how he would have felt if the tables were turned!!!!

Lance Pennington: I responded to a MoO refinance notice. At first the rep was fantastic, answered all my questions, responded fairly quickly. Once we got to the stage of paying off loans, debts, asking questions of how things happen the communication became very very delayed, days in-between responses. Phone calls sent to voicemail. We signed the documents and the pay off amounts were not correct, we ended up spending thousands of dollars for pay off instead of using the funds for home improvement which is the entire reason we refinanced. Multiple times I reached out asking for clarification and requesting the amounts be changed updated , added removed and multiple times I was told dont worry use the funds you are getting to cover the difference. Now before our first house payment is due we find out the loan has already been sold to a new company. I am 7 days from the first payment and have no idea who the new loan is through. Do your research look elsewhere for a refinance company..you are just a number to these people. They do not care or listen to you.
