5 /5 Leah Berg: I called in January of this year to cancel my auto policies because of non-working vehicles. Now This is September and I noticed that Im STILL being charged for one of them at $84 a month! I called and they refused to return my money from Jan to Sept. UPDATE!! I spoke to Mark Kuning and after looking into the situation I was given a full refund! I definitely appreciate that Mark stepped in to correct the mistake. I will be staying with Farmers for my other insurance needs.

He has always been knowledgeable about all the services we use and got us a great price on all our policies. We also had a 1986 Monte Carlo SS that he suggested another company might be cheaper to use as it was mostly a show car with very low miles driven. We especially like that he is located in our city so we can stop by anytime if we need to ask him questions or make a claim. We are very happy having Mark be our insurance agent. Randy and Nick were able to Listen and Understand my very specific insurance policy needs and respond within less than half a day with policies ready to go. Nick put in extra effort to get the policies just right. This after I wasted 2 weeks working with a competing local company with multiple revisions and little progress before I finally gave up. The few times that Ive tried to contact his office, theres never a person there to answer the phone. You either have to leave a voicemail or send an email. Its always taken him days to respond to either. After shopping around, I found another top national insurance company that can save us $800 a year for the same equal to and better coverages on our auto and homeowners insurance. Our biggest regret is that we stayed with him this long.

tomatosword: After 8 years, thousands of dollars, and not a single claim ever. My car was broken into and a window smashed, I thought to myself "hey my insurance has a glass claim section". I was promptly advised not to make a claim under the threat of raising my monthly bill (theyve already raised it 3 times in 3 years). Do yourself a favor get cheap insurance somewhere else because paying more for better coverage just means theyll threaten to raise it if you ever need it. Even for something as small as 1 window.

Kory Kranz: One of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with, no customer service. We had an issue in our wall and when it finally caved in we called them as soon as we noticed it. Doesn’t matter we should of known what was happening in our walls because apparently all American family employees have cameras and sensors in there walls to alert them to moisture…. Must be nice, customer service sucks we were bounced around to several people to deal with our mess. Our agent was zero help he said his hands are tied I just collect your money… he didn’t even try to fight for us… Kevin is a horrible agent and American family is a scam of a company….

Allan webb: We left farmers to be with alstate because they helped us to get a lower rate for full coverage on our 2019 Subaru the price for a month at farmers is our 6mo premium at allstate. We also have renters insurance through them which is 20 bucks a month which I feel is really great for the coverage we have.
