Don Hall: When I moved to town, I shopped around at a few large Bellingham fitness centers, none of which were quite what I was looking for. Then I visited Anytime Fitness/Barkley Village and found a great fit for me. Ive now been a member for 18 months. It has really been an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The facility is clean, well-organized and has all the equipment I need. They have small group and 1-on-1 training opportunities, which are excellent. What really distinguishes Anytime Fitness/Barkley Village is the high caliber of the people who work there. To a person, they are extremely knowledgeable, naturally enthusiastic and helpful, and genuinely interested in their clients. My fitness and overall health have improved significantly thanks to Charley and the rest of the AF team. I highly recommend Anytime Fitness/Barkley Village.
Bellingham Athletic Club - Bellingham
A Donovan: Our children took swim lessons July and August 2025. The instructors are awesome and great with the kids. Eric and Leo were the main instructors for the kiddos and I would highly recommend coming here for lessons. Great community feel, good vibes. More than 5 stars!
Anytime Fitness - Bellingham
Maricel F.: I really love working out at Anytime Fitness kellogg Rd, Bellingham branch. The staff are super accommodating and approachable, especially Jordyn, she’s always so friendly and helpful. Everyone here is respectful, and I feel completely safe even when I work out late at night. The equipment might not be the newest, but everything works great and gets the job done. Big kudos to the whole team for always being there and willing to help. You can really tell they care about their members!
Evergreen Strength Gym - Bellingham
Brian Ingles: Fantastic gym, friendly and down-to-earth coaches with a great programming structure. I run through a training cycle for about 2 months to prep for snowboarding every year, and this year I went with Evergreen because Elijah, Brandon, Amy and the whole squad are great accountabilibuddies! Saw real gains in my performance under fatigue, lower body power, and my ability to absorb landing impact. Check them out!

Noah Silverman: I’ve been going to Training Grounds for a few years. Moved out of town and tried 3 other gyms, none of which could even come close to meeting the bar. Probably the best gym that you will ever find. My wife and I always found ourselves wishing that we were back at TG. Plenty of equipment for everyone, even during peak hours. Tons of variety for whatever form of fitness that you are into. A great staff who take pride in what they do, their gym, and their members.

Ride Culture - Bellingham
Wild Iris Pet Sitting: Had a really great experience with my first class at Ride Culture today! The studio is very nice with lockers, shoe rental, showers, and amenities and the class itself was a nice workout and a lot of fun. I was a little nervous to try a new studio, but the coaches made me feel comfortable and welcome by giving me a quick tour and helping me adjust my bike before class. There was even a cute little welcome card on my bike!

Mellissa Moultray: I’ve been coming to Iron Mountain for a few months now and have had a fantastic experience taking classes with both Kim and Christian. They are kind and supportive, making sessions super enjoyable and motivating. Since starting, I’ve seen a significant improvement in my back pain and energy levels. The classes are well structured, easy to follow, and cater to all levels- this was a huge concern of mine not having much experience in a gym. Glad I found this place. Highly recommend! :)
Lab Athletics - Bellingham
Leah Baskett: I joined Lab Athletics with a 6 week nutrition and membership program, after the first week of going to the work outs I knew this was the gym for me! I love how the work outs are small groups with really awesome coaches, every single coach has been so helpful with form, offering alternative movements if needed, giving helpful feedback while also encouraging you to lift heavier and push harder and I feel like every coach truly wants you to be the healthiest strongest person you can be! All the coaches and the owner Jake are so friendly and make the work out classes fun but challenging. They are all so knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness, they’re all so amazing and so great at helping to keep you motivated! All the other members are so encouraging too, it really makes a difference when the other people doing the work out with you and pushing themselves just as hard if not harder and are super friendly while encouraging you to push yourself too. I’ve had such an awesome experience at this gym unlike any other gym I’ve attended. The community this gym has created is truly one of a kind! My only regret is not finding them sooner! I really love the structure of the work outs with the hour classes having portions for strength training and portions endurance training. I personally really enjoy being able to focus on trying to lift heavy and really work certain muscle groups and then finishing the work out off with another portion to really get your heart rate going. The nutrition plan I started with the 6 week program was really well thought out and all the food was tasty, nothing was bland or boring. Every meal I felt full and wasn’t craving more food. I also found some new recipes that I really love and still make for myself from it! I highly recommend this gym, every work out and check in meeting with Jake throughout the 6 week program have all been so positive, encouraging, inspiring, motivating and honestly really fun!!
Terrain - Bellingham
Jake Koppenberg: I’ve been at Terrain for nearly 7 years. I can’t say enough about Tonia and her trainers. The knowledge and thought behind the programing is extensive and the results show. I have been able to make significant gains in my fitness and strength while remaining injury free. Terrain has a wonderful community of members who motivate each other and have you looking forward to another day of getting better. I genuinely don’t think you will find a more effective and enjoyable place to increase your fitness.
