Upgrade Labs Bellevue - Bellevue
Jeremy Meadows: As a health and wellness doctor I want to be at the top of my game and create longevity in our familys life. Upgrade Labs has been amazing from the first day I went in. The team is friendly and always ready to help. It feels good to have a place to go and not only work out in advanced ways but recover to your fullest, recovery is just as important as the work you put in! Thanks Upgrade!
StretchLab - Bellevue
LISA: Jorie at the StretchLab Bellevue is amazing. She helped me resolve some hip and IT band issues and I just came back from some long flights and she was able to work out all the kinks in my neck and shoulders. I feel like I had a full body stretch massage :).
The Pursuit - Bellevue
AN: I’m a frequent attendee at Solidcore, and given that the pursuit is a small business, I really wanted to like it. I bought the intro offer for $49 and went twice (had to cancel once). The first time I went the instructor seemed new and like she was still figuring things out. The second time, my instructor was better but acted like I didn’t exist in a class of 3 people! The impersonal manner of the coaches that I experienced certainly does not contribute to the culture of support that they advertise on their website. In terms of the actual workout, it is almost too well rounded in the sense that you work a lot of muscles a little bit and don’t reach muscle failure which is necessary to build muscle. The studio in Bellevue is nice and I enjoyed the natural light provided by the windows . I don’t know if my experience is an anomaly or if I was just unlucky.
CorePower Yoga - Bellevue - Bellevue
Jamit JP: I wanted to check out the business and start a new membership. When I stopped by, the doors were locked during business hours and a lady inside would not let me in. Next, I tried their customer service line which is in Denver. After waiting on hold a few minutes, I decided this place doesnt need new customers.
The Little Gym of Bellevue-Redmond - Bellevue
Krisztina Davison: All four of my children have grown up going to the Little Gym over the last 19 years, mostly at the Bellevue location. The gym is always clean; the environment is inviting and family oriented. For all the years we have been there, the staff has been exceptionally kind, loving to children, thoughtful and super fun. My children learned skills, balance, strength, body awareness, even how to fall safely! The culture of the gym is friendly, joyful, encouraging: a perfect environment for growth. I cannot say enough great things about the Little Gym. Its a gem.
425 FITNESS REDMOND - Redmond
425 FITNESS REDMOND
Keith Tallon: Been going here for a few years because I live in the boonies and its the closest gym. Pros: well-appointed. Friendly staff. Cons: parking is awful, both in terms of the layout of the lot and its capacity. As youd expect, crowding is also an issue, and there are frequent group classes that make it worse. There have been multiple occasions where I couldnt get into the gym on my way home after work, and left angry. I stopped trying. They actually hire valets to help park during peak hours, so props to them for that, but who wants to turn their car over to be parked by a teenager to attempt a workout in a gym so crowded that it needs valets? The gym also just got bought out by Bay Club, with the transition immediately introducing a credit card fee on my monthly dues and an awful app that I dont want to use but have to. Instead of just letting members use a fob or photo, they overengineered the QR code you use to log in to a degree Ive hitherto only seen in corporate security settings: the code for your account changes every 45 seconds. Today they stopped me on my way in to ask me to sign "just a basic agreement" which upon review was actually an arbitration agreement and release of liability -- for everything from theft to personal injury to death -- so all-inclusive that its probably not legally enforceable. It even includes the heirs of those who sign. The internet doesnt have good things to say about Bay Club, who apparently made Pro Club twice as expensive while cutting corners on service and maintenance. Today also marked first time Ive ever seen the little color-coded water filter light turn red, so things are not looking good. Three stars for now. Ill update when they inevitably start turning the enshittification thumbscrews further. Edit: Im not actually sure how to reply to a reply here, but hello 425 management. Yes, I understand the security benefit of using an app with a constantly changing passcode. What I question is the tradeoff to me as your customer. I dont want to use the app. It is an inconvenience and worse experience for me. Put in context of Bay Clubs reputation and the changes Im already seeing, I suspect that Bay Club cares more about collecting data and fees from everyone on-site than about the security of my person or belongings. After all, your liability waiver would force members into arbitration in any scenario that could possibly arise from a non-member using the facilities (and really anything at all that could occur on-site, up to and including theft, injury, or death). Do you really expect me to believe that Bay Clubs practice of treating access to its rowing machines with the seriousness that Google treats access to its trade secrets is about protecting the change of clothes that I leave in my locker?
Orangetheory Fitness - Redmond
Jacky Jarachovic: I love the workout but I think I would get more out of them if they played for hype music! The music has been a little too vanilla lately and it doesn’t get me in the mood. Louder music, drowning out the sound of my heavy breathing. Preferably no more Young the Giant and more Fred Again.
Athletic Training Institute。運動 - Bellevue
Spencer F: AJ is the person to go to for physical therapy. I went for a weird leg issue and AJ and he made it a lot better just with the first visit. Great place and great environment.
Bellevue Pilates - Bellevue
Ruth Marsh: Bellevue Pilates is truly exceptional. Every instructor here brings many years of experience in classical Pilates (using Gratz equipment), and it shows in the quality, precision, and care they bring to each session. I’m still pretty new to Pilates — have been a client for ten months, and the results have been noticeable. I’ve seen definite improvement in core strength, balance, posture, flexibility and overall body awareness that carries into all the other things I love—running, dancing, hiking, and skiing. I’m stronger, more aligned, and more confident in my body. I can see why people keep at this practice for the long haul — there’s always more to learn! Bellevue Pilates is the real deal. If you’re looking for experienced instructors, a classical approach, and meaningful progress in how you move and feel, I highly recommend this studio.
Gymnastics East - Bellevue
Stela Krasteva: We love this place! My 5 YO daughter cannot wait for her class each week. She gets personalized directions from her coach, who is so good with all the kids in the class - personable, fun, engaged, yet good about setting clear boundaries in a positive way. She teaches them complicated techniques, but in a way that does not seem "technical" and boring - to them it is a game. I can see my child learning and growing by the week, even by the minute and her self confidence is blossoming. I wish I could sign up my 3 YO son here as well. He currently goes to another venue, where he gets much less personal attention and professional coaching, but alas all the classes in his age group are full (clearly because this is a desirable gym), so he is wait-listed.
