1 /5 David: Was appointed Mary through this law group for a dws case. I called their office the following day and they took down my info and said my attorney would get back to me as soon as they can. As my court date approached I made several calls and left voicemails but got nothing back. When the day of my court hearing came I called the office yet again and Jennifer answered the phone. After explaining the situation she told me I have never called them I had never left any voicemails that I hadn’t been calling them at all. Jennifer informed me that the judge and court would be notified that I had not made any attempt to contact their office all the while knowing full well that this particular judge makes threats to jail anyone who fails to contact their attorney before the 2nd court date. Jennifer’s message was intended to be a passive threat and I received it as such. After this I called her out on the rudeness and unprofessionalism in a very calm collected tone. Not once was I rude not once did I say anything impolite. When I asked why my attorney had not returned my calls or reached out Jennifer explained that my attorney was too busy and their office did not chase clients. From that I’m confused because if my attorney is too busy to call me how is my attorney going to answer my calls?? When I expressed my other attorney on another matter was able to more effectively communicate with me despite also having a large caseload she exclaimed “Good for her!” Also as I expected to save face Jennifer fired off an email stating that I had made the phone call and was extremely rude. The only one rude, impolite, unprofessional, and threatening was Jennifer for the Grimm law group. How I could proceed with my case being represented by people who seemed more bent on me going to jail and looking bad before the court is absolutely not what I want. I was luckily able to dodge this whole law group and got reassigned with a different law group. I can’t really comment on the attorneys at Grimm because I’m not sure I ever spoke to one. I spoke with Jennifer however and if they’re anything like her than I’m glad I was reappointed. Good luck with your cases everyone.
