Kitsap Combat Sports Center - Bremerton
Scarlette Kelly: My son loves going to his classes! Coach AJ and coach Tye are excellent with the kids and are dedicated to their success! Highly recommend.
Watson Fitness - Belfair
Daniel Bretthauer: Watson Fitness is great! Parking is easy, hours are convenient, and its never crowded. Tons of equipment, all in good condition, and the price is reasonable. Just great all around. They offer personal training, which has helped me learn how to use the equipment as a beginner. The training also helped me pick up where physical therapy left off to strengthen muscles around an old injury, which has made a real difference. Both Jessica and Rudy are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to answer questions and show people how to use the equipment properly. They clearly work hard to keep the gym clean and safe for everyone. I really appreciate that they opened this gym, and Im happy to support a local small business instead of a big corporate chain. Keep it up!
Triad Wellness-Gym/Fitness & Nutrition & Mindfulness - Silverdale
Michele Lewis: Great environment and workout options. Trainers knowledgeable and help get you in shape with exercise and nutrition. I’m doing workouts I’ve never done and feeling them just as good if not better than my old school weight training. Good nutrition coaching and accountability. My trainer Stefani is a great motivator and encourager…not to mention kicks my booty with workouts!
Anytime Fitness - Silverdale
Cathy Hamel: I travel for work and this is one of the best AF gyms in the USA, and I’ve seen a lot. It’s new, everything is clean and organized, lots of free weights and machines to choose from. And KETTLEBELLS!! You’d be surprised how many AF gyms don’t have kettlebells! I know this gym is gonna flourish!! ❤️
Marina Square Express YMCA - Bremerton
Laura Pugh: Finally stopped in for the first time after its October opening. Adults only weight room and cardio equipment. There are weekly classes now, which happen on the outdoor patio area. Amazing view of the water while you workout! Kitsap Pierce YMCA membership required.
GRITNESS Fitness & Sports Performance - Port Orchard
Judith Larson: Please be extremely cautious before joining Gritness Fitness. This gym has a long-standing history of emotional abuse, bullying, and toxic leadership. The owner and coach, have created a hostile environment where members are targeted, isolated, and publicly mistreated. This behavior has gone on for years and is not an isolated incident. I experienced it personally—and I’m one of MANY former clients who left for the same reasons. I joined their “March Madness” promotion, which was advertised with specific benefits that were never delivered. After completing the 3-month term and giving notice that I would not continue, I was removed from all services without explanation—yet still pressured to pay again. I was immediately blocked from the gym’s business page and social media platforms. This was a clear attempt to silence my voice instead of addressing legitimate issues. This is not just poor customer service—it is systemic emotional abuse and retaliation. If you are looking for a safe, positive, and supportive fitness community, this is not the place. I urge you to protect your mental and emotional well-being and look elsewhere.
Haselwood Family YMCA - Silverdale
Haselwood Family YMCA
Christine Moats: I’ve really loved it here the couple months I’ve been going. There’s enough equipment that it’s never a concern that I not get to do the workout of my choice. The place is very clean. I’ve had a lot of success in my weight loss journey. I also really appreciate the daily Bible verse posted up front. A the prayer box that’s on the counter for anyone to put something in.
Thrive Yoga Manette - Bremerton
Christina Mayfield: Thrive is the most wonderful and cozy studio! They have an excellent offering of classes to meet all skill levels and a great variety of membership options. The heated deck is lovely and the turf is my favorite during nice weather! Kristi and her whole team go above and beyond to ensure that you feel welcome when you walk through the door and to offer variations of each pose in their classes to make yoga accessible for all of the members, empowering us to make our practice, OUR practice. Love Thrive!
Virtuous Fitness - Silverdale
Jodi Cox: I was nervous to join because I hadnt consistently worked out for years, but am so glad I reached out to Cody and set up that initial appointment/workout. Members made me feel welcome and the coaches modified the workout to my fitness level. I quickly saw that all different fitness levels attend classes and it doesnt matter where youre currently at, everyone is rooting for you. The programming is top notch and pushes you to increase weight, increase endurance, gain confidence, and get better. The coaches are very knowledgeable and I appreciate the individual feedback I receive during each session. This is a great gym and community and I wish I had joined sooner.
Agate Pass Fitness - Poulsbo
Rich Clayton: UPDATE 11/28/23 : coming up on a year since I started my fitness program with Agate Pass Fitness! I’m feeling better than and looking better than I have in years! At 74 years of age I had doubts but Julie, Mike and my gym buddies supported me and continue to encourage me to keep working at it. The Social aspect has been as rewarding as the fitness! My wife started working out here over 1 1/2 years ago and loves it! She does the HIIT program 3 days/week. They have other programs and start times throughout the day. But I am reviewing the 9:00am HIIT program. As a 23 New Years resolution, I started attending with her at the 9:00am sessions. Its a small group of less than 12 and the workout is both aerobic and strength. They call it HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training and its fantastic. The owner/trainer/leader is Julie and shes amazing! She helps you get started without performance pressure and the others are very accepting - no pressure to keep up with them. Some folks have been working out here since they opened. Just do it! Its good for you and they make it fun...
