1 /5 Michelle Mueller: Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. My husband brought raw materials to him to have a ring made for me for my 40th birthday. Everything appeared to go well at first, but once we paid the whole bill, nothing ever progressed. Every time my husband went in it was one excuse after another. "Ill have it done next week"...2 months later. This was a 6 month long process to get our ring made. The communication was very poor, and in the end we did not get what we wanted. My husband had to go in and tell him finish the ring now or give us our stuff back. Well shock the ring was ready that afternoon. Too bad it was very very poorly made. First, the center stone was not what we talked about, and it was too small for the setting. I noticed immediately it moved when I touched it. Second, I noticed one of the side stones was not sitting correctly in the setting, and SEVERAL prongs on the whole ring were not set correctly. Since it took 6 months to get our ring in the first place, we went elsewhere to have it looked at and to get the correct stone put in the middle. The person who is helping us finish this ring was shocked at how poorly the stones were set and how loose they all were. This ring was made from materials that are a family heirloom, I wouldve been devastated if I lost a stone. What was supposed to be a really special present turned into an extremely frustrating situation, only leading to more frustration and more money out of our pocket for his mistakes. Please do not go here. If he pops on here and says this is fake, I have our receipts and pic of my ring to prove it. Save your time and money please.
EDIT: First, I did not say anything was wrong with the design. It was a beautiful design. Second, I do know every single aspect of every conversation had. YOU told Matt that his opals were of excellent quality, that his uncle did a great job cutting them. It was his uncle who had them, it was his uncle who cut them, but great way to blame my husband on it all. Yes, he approved the design, again that is not our complaint. Yes, the small opals were cut really well. Thats where it ends. Matt was furious when he came in to finally get my ring and didnt want to waste anymore time dealing with you and this situation. We were lied to for almost 6 months. Told it would be ready when it wasnt. There was ZERO communication. Matt had to physically go into the shop to get any communication at all. I can tell by a lot of the reviews that those positives are fake. Look at the 1 star reviews and the problems all sound similar to ours. The stones were VERY VERY VERY poorly set. The prongs were NOT holding them in at all. I could see it with my naked eye, a different jeweler showed me what i suspected, and even offered to write a letter stating what he found when we brought the ring in. I waited 6 months for something special to us, and even then it wasnt correct. Matt took the ring and left because we were no longer going to deal with you. I will be making a report to the BBB because this is ridiculous for you to put the entire blame on my husband. Yes, he approved the design, yes he left the store with the ring, only because we were sick of your BS excuses and wanted the ring we originally wanted. And funny, we have someone else cutting the opals you claim are awful and cant cut, and was informed they are amazing quality and better than anything the guy had in his shop that he could sell us. So continue to blame my husband, continue to put me down as well in the process, you messed up. You did not follow through, and we know we are not the first.
