5 /5 Racheal Stuth Reichel, LICSW: I did not get to hire Mr. Kontos, however speaking with him & receiving him as a referral source & subsequent referrals from him I could assess him to be a kind and professional attorney in family law. He was direct and straightforward and had my best interest even though we had not entered into a client/attorney relationship. The reviews pertaining to his skills as a calm communicator are accurate. I wish he practiced in Pierce as I would have hired him for my needs.

1 /5 Brian Thelander: I am not sure how he has over a 4 star review. He started my case out well, staff was great. But when it came to court, he absolutely lost it!! Would not listen to me, got ran over and backed up on. He lost my case to a drug addicted, DUI, jailbird with zero legal help. I should have stood up and fired him in court and asked for a continuation. But I couldn’t, because he used them all up!!! If your loved ones mean something to you, I would advise you, in my opinion, go someplace else!

He was competitively priced and when my ex-wife tried to take my kids out of state he helped me through getting a restraining order dropped and the judge sided with me on 5 out of 6 counts. What was particularly surprising was Mr. Kontos knowledge and experience. In my first appointment he told me what the court was likely to do. In the end it was exactly as he said. I cannot recommend him more!
