I called for advice on how to get full custody of my son because my son is terrified of his father who was emotionally and mentally abusive to us and physically hurt me. He wouldnt let me get a word in and treated me like I was trying to keep my son away from the father just because I was petty. He actually tried to end the phone call before i was done asking questions and seemed like he just didnt want to talk to me. At the end of the phone call he stopped talking and I responded with "ok" because it sounded like he was going to keep talking. He responded my saying "Arent you going to say thank you" in a rude tone. At this point I was fed up and said thank you then hung up. Shouldnt have thanked him at all with how rude he was.

It took 2 years before my case went to trial at the US District Court in Seattle. During that time I worked extensively with Patrick in person and via email and phone to build our case. And again, true to his form, Patrick stayed with me for another year and a half to take my case to the higher court on Valentines Day 2025. 4 months later, the panel from the Ninth Circuit affirmed the lower courts findings and upheld my award and motion for attorneys fees. Litigation is a daunting process for a plaintiff and I do not wish it on anyone.
