BECU credit union - Renton m!chaeĀ”: I canāt rate an ATM on here so just know this is nothing more than beef between me and the ATMs at BECU. I honestly do not understand why BECU is one of the only ATMS that will not return your card before you get your cash, Iāll use another ATM once or twice, forget this principal, and BAM my card is shredded. (1 star for security at least) I think over the past 5 years I have had to replace 20 or so debit cards because of this. Has this happened at literally any other ATM? No! Because they do things in a logical order where they return your card BEFORE your cash. Will I probably do this again to avoid ATM fees? Probably. Do I still hope they will change this? Yes, please! Again I have literally never interacted with anything more than your ATM, but now I look at my wallet, one pouch empty and sad because once again my local BECU ATM decided to take my lapse in judgement and take it as a late night snack. Mind you this doesnāt take long either as all I did was go back to my car and realize and it was already gone. Again, love the security measure, but we could probably save some plastic by doing that in another order, peace and love! ā¤ļø
