1 /5 Barbara Decker: Dont invest any money or stocks at the Tacoma Merrill lynch! Bad experience with the handling of my stocks and when I changed to a different management Company they got nasty. When I filed a formal complaint, the advisor I had lied. I warned my sister when this happened and that she didnt listen. Now shes come to find out that the same advisor never listened to what she wanted. Put her in a very, very risky stock market. 88% in the freaking RED! My sister never saw that coming and found this out when she finally had a different management company look over her portfolio. Advisor at Merrill lynch was fired and stocks moved. Now my sister has to sell off those high risk stocks in order to balance out her portfolio so she has retirement money. Shell be taxed a pretty penny because that advisor didnt DO her job. My sister could have lost everything the way the stock market is going and how incompetent that advisor is. She should be held accountable.

2 /5 J H: I started with inherited funds in a ML branch in Idaho; that branch sucked. Then I transferred all accounts to a ML branch in Federal Way; that branch was awesome. Then the Federal Way branch was merged with the Tacoma branch. (It is my understanding that almost all of the ML employees from the Federal Way branch quit shortly after the merger.) I haven’t asked much of the Tacoma branch - keep my funds where they are and make disbursements when I request. They have failed on the disbursements. The previous disbursement took far longer than it should have - they had cash on hand for several business days before they initiated a transferred to my bank - only after several of my voicemails inquiring about the status of the disbursement, and they never called back to give me any status reports. And, that disbursement was in the wrong amount: I asked for X gross and Y net after taxes; I got Y gross and Z net after taxes. The current disbursement appears to be headed in the same direction. I called and asked for a disbursement (Day 1); the following business day they sold some investments to have enough cash (Day 2); two business days to settle (Day3-4). Cash is on hand. It is now business Day 10 and still no indication of a pending transfer to my bank. I’m counting business days - not weekends or holidays. This time I’m not calling to inquire - I want to see how long they forget to do their job. And, if they aren’t doing the simple task of disbursements, what else aren’t they doing?

1 /5 joel neufeld: These crooks worked with my soon to be exwife to hide money during a divorce case. They knew it was the wrong thing to do, and went ahead with it. I had to get their own legal team involved to undo it. Now, my soon to be ex moved money to yet another account, and I have been asking repeatedly to have it put back where it was, and I have gotten nothing but unanswered emails and requests. I would NEVER recommend these crooks to handle even a penny of your money. Terrible communication skills, and even worse at following simple laws. KEEP MOVING! PUT YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
