He went over my policies and advised that it would be better to stay with my existing company. I was very impressed with his courtesy and taking time to explain the latest insurance rate costs and reasons. I did not change from my existing company. 5 /5 Kim Stamper: Our agent was very helpful and communicative as we went through the process of renewing and considering adding automotive to our coverage. She was clearly invested in getting us the best rates possible while making sure we had the coverage we needed. She even offered us advice in selecting an air conditioning unit that we hope to purchase soon! It is a pleasure to speak with her, and I feel like I have a friend in our agent!

5 /5 ryan allsop: Scott Richards Insurance was fantastic to work with...Nicole Schmidt was great! Extremely responsive...tolerant of the multiple quotes as we tried to buy a few boats. In the end she beat BOAT US in price, service and coverage. She had multiple quotes done on her end as well and came back with excellent coverage for the price. I would HIGHLY recommend using Nicole and Scott Richards Insurance!

5 /5 Brian Peterman: We’ve only been with Scot for a few months but so far we are quite satisfied. Communications have been excellent and he worked in our best interest. That is evident by his efforts to reduce our insurance premium which is counter to his personal gain in receiving a percent commission. He appears to have good contacts in the industry and knows the intricacies of complex yacht insurance and advises us well. Keep up this excellent service and we’ll remain happy boaters.

5 /5 Jeffery Bear: Can’t say enough good things about this company. It’s really not even just one person; the entire staff is on point and knows their products. I have an older trawler and when a previous insurance carrier dropped me as Loyds of London changed their requirements Nicole and Scot Buchanan came to the rescue. They were able to provide coverage and as it needed a new survey, also a third party surveyor to get everything handled and put in place. The process was straightforward which is very much appreciated as everyone’s time is valuable. I would recommend Scott Richards Insurance to anyone with a boat!!
