1 /5 Brandi McNeil: NRG was recommended by trusted choice as a good option for me. I attempted to get in touch with their office by calling multiple times a day for three days. No one answered the phone a single time that I called. I left a voicemail and got a return call that I unfortunately missed, but when I called back, no one would pick up. Eventually, I texted the number and almost immediately got a phone call back from Ramisha.
My phone call with Ramisha was pleasant enough and I was cautiously optimistic. She stated that I would get a quote by the next day. I did not get a quote by the next day and towards the end of the day I sent a text message asking when I could expect a quote. I never got a response. Two days later, I texted and stated that I rescinded my request for a quote. This is now over a week ago and I still haven’t heard anything back.
Based on my experience, I would not trust NRG to help me in an urgent situation if I was making a claim. If I can’t even get them to answer the phone or provide me with a quote in a timely manner when I was OFFERING THEM BUSINESS, I have very little confidence that they would do so once I’m already a customer and they’ve already made as much money for me as they’re going to.
Proceed with caution.
