Kristina Young: I have had Safeco for over 12 years- home and auto. I won’t go into details, but they allowed my policy to be rewritten by a 3rd party without my consent and added another driver onto my policy without my consent. I can’t image that was legal. That aside, with no changes in coverage, my premium went up 50% and the ONLY thing that’s changed is that I got a divorce. No claims, no tickets, my credit score is better than it was a year ago and I work from home. So basically- we’re setting women’s rights back another 100 years. My ex-husband didn’t get a policy increase with the divorce. And he’s had claims. How is this not sexist? I’m shopping for a new carrier after 12 years. Stay away if you’re a woman.

They put so little effort into my case and didnt talk to my doctors, strung me along for literally months while I had no income, and continued to deny me coverage for pathetic reasons that were at odds with everything my medical team said. I had even jumped through all of their hoops. They told me things and then claimed they never said them. Id leave voicemails they seemingly didnt listen to. I got bounced between probably three different agents. Honestly, dealing with the Hartford was probably the worst part of HAVING CANCER. DO NOT USE THE HARTFORD. NO MATTER WHAT. ITS NOT WORTH IT. Now I just hope I dont end up losing my house. Thanks, guys.
