5 /5 Adam Lang: Kevin and his team saved our family $6,000 this year in health insurance premiums. Besides the premium savings, the policy they found has no deductible (only copays). Compare that to the $11,000 family deductible on the plan offered by my new employer (at $500 more per month), and you can see why I am proud to write this glowing, 5-star review for Kevin and Riverbend Insurance. Beyond the savings, Kevin was able to answer all of my questions and walk me through various scenarios (lots of doctor visits vs. few, specialists vs. regular visits, emergency care, etc.) in terms of plan and cost. Im the type of person who wants to understand all the details, which Im sure annoys many professionals. Kevin was incredibly patient and actually seemed happy that I wanted to have all our ducks in a row before pulling the trigger. I also had to follow up a few times after buying the policy to make sure I was clear on payment and policy number. His team answered the phone the first time I called and was able to answer my questions. Id recommend anyone who is looking for a better insurance rate to call Riverbend and let Kevin and his team do the work to find the best deal

1 /5 Darrin Johnston: I rarely do reviews "but"... my negative experience with this insurance broker/salesman provoked the need for me to let unsuspecting folks know of the danger here. Savvy people should easily pick up on the lack of professionalism, it was somewhat obvious right at the get-go, kind of "rinky-dink". Although in an effort to keep the money with local businesses we decided to give them our business and for a short bit all was ok. I guess I should have learned my lesson after the first round of incompetence & miscommunications on their part that almost cost me huge before I caught their error, but I didnt...(errf). The second round we werent as fortunate, I simply ask for a "quote" $ for an addition to my policy, which we never got an estimate or answer from them at all and ended up not needing the addition anyway, so no big deal...right? Well 3 months later with no warning at all I get a bill from the provider for the first quarter of this policy that Riverbend (with no approval from us) just took the initiative to sign me up for, to the tune of $800. When I questioned this huge error I instantly got rudely be-littled and talked down to, it was an obvious guilty defense tactic, but he really made me feel bad. The simple and right thing to do would be for them to admit their mistake & return my money, but similar stories from other locals lead me to believe this shoddy business practice might be the norm here. Save yourself the headache, rudeness and extra expense of this 3rd or 4th party salesman and just go to the source provider.

1 /5 sadf asdf: Dont try to do business with Riverbend - they NEVER return your phone calls. Repeated requests for an insurance quote on 3 houses, 5 cars are NEVER returned (weve tried 3 times and give up). Screw this lazy clown, he doesnt deserve my business or yours. (dont believe Riverbends pathetic reply below - theyre lying. Im not the only one that has had this issue with this company - they do not return phone calls and are not interested in new clients. There was no "combative" phone call, not even close. I politely asked for an insurance quote - and got ignored, 3 times after trying over several WEEKS. Riverbend doesnt like negative reviews (obviously) and simply wont own up to the fact that theyre far too lazy to return phone calls from long-established insurance customers.

1 /5 Krystal Payne: They told me I had to get my own insurance instead of me being covered on my moms so they could make more money. Now today, my mother in law got a bill saying she needs to pay August (its July and she paid 3 months in advance.) So its a good thing she kept her receipt otherwise theyd have gotten 3 months car and business insurance payments.. she paid that so she can have surgery and not worry. Shame on you. You fix my mother in laws insurance I fix my review...
