3 /5 Charlotte Ramirez: Ive been trying to connect with someone to cancel my membership. They refuse to respond and you can only cancel in person. Edit: After this review True Edge owner finally responded and cancelled my membership after 3 months of no response. Its a good gym for the price, the other gym participants are welcoming and supportive.

1 /5 Brandon: Will have to go thru my lawyer to see if I can be refunded $730 that was pulled from my account this past weekend. I’m military and found out I would be stationed in NC. My last session there, I asked to have my membership cancelled, the guy at the front desk told me he’d get the message to the owner and it would be cancelled. This was a year ago. I went on deployment for 8 months and have been back in NC for 1.5 months. No calls, no texts, no emails regarding payment. And out of the blue I’m charged for money that I “owe” and they can’t do anything to refund. Crazy, crooked way to run a business. I asked the owner if there are outstanding balances, do they not reach out? He told me he has other stuff to worry about. You would think the money to support your business would be a priority but I guess not.

2 /5 Ashley Marie Vazquez: Personally, I think $20 for a day pass is too much for the size of the gym and quality of the equipment. This gym is extremely small and the machines are old. The posing room area is nice, but I was just underwhelmed and got bored really fast. The aesthetics are nice but I just think this gym is so tiny. Also, in order to even exit the gym you have to push a button which took me multiple times and needed help just to get out, which is a serious safety concern and a fire hazard. You shouldn’t have to press a button and quickly push the door open just to get out…that raises a big concern for safety purposes. Other than that, it’s definitely a gym for dedicated lifters. I wish they had stair masters. I just expected more.

Jesus Iniguez: After many years of neglecting my personal fitness I wanted to find a gym that would both help me ease back into regular exercise safely, but also push me to reach higher goals when the time was right. This gym changed my life. The instruction is excellent and the multiple times offered for group work, both AM and PM supported access and made it easy and possible for consistency regardless of my crazy schedule. The environment is family friendly (they often hire baby sitters as needed for Saturday work outs), team oriented, encouraging, challenging, spacious, dynamic, organized and fun. I will forever be grateful for the team at Soundview. Recommend to anyone, at any level without reservations.

Shaz Khalid: I tried out the free trial for the group hybrid training and honestly loved it. It’s a fast-paced 1 hour mix of strength, functional and cardio, but you can go at your own pace and I like coach Vinny bcz he makes sure to pay attention to you even in a group setting. Friendly coaches, great vibes, good music and good banter, it’s so much fun. It’s a great way to let off steam while getting stronger and fitter. I signed up for three classes a week, plus I get 24/7 gym access which is a huge bonus. Oh, and they’ve always got energy bars stocked, small thing, but I appreciate it.

From the moment you walk in you’re welcomed by people of all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds, working towards their goals. I’ve been coming here for years & for the past 1.5 years have been doing semi private training with Luka. I’m in the best shape of my life both physically and mentally because of the people here. Luka is the best of the best and I feel lucky to have him as a coach & mentor. The entire vigor team are incredible and I look forward to workouts with coach Kimi, Myron & Robyn weekly. Can’t recommend this place enough!
