American Family restored everything to the original standard, and even hosted me at a hotel during the worst of it while the work was going on. They kept the process moving forward (so I didnt have to), checked in with me frequently, and treated me with great regard and exceptional service every step of the way. As friends heard about the flooding, every one seemed to have an insurance claim "horror story" to recount, and were astounded to hear about how different my American Family claims experience was from theirs. (Especially at competitive rates) Paul Spencer and Heather Baer have helped me navigate coverage choices and secure great rates through the years. They reach out whenever new saving programs or options become available - for example just this week they started a discount for downloading a driving app on my phone. Best service, nicest people, great value.

Martin Rand: If you have State Farm Insurance or are looking to use them run the other way ASAP. State Farm is the worst company to deal with especially with homeowners insurance. They do everything not to pay and screw you over. We had a total loss house fire and the personal property claim is an ongoing nightmare to collect on the policy. State Farm is NOT a good neighbor ! As for State Farm agent Brad Methner he is no help. He will tell you how easy it is to settle a claim and what is covered but he is not to be trusted. He would be better suited to be a used-car salesman. Bottomline.... do not use State Farm Insurance. They are the bad neighbor from hell !!
