Pete Pineda Ive explored many religions in my 30 yrs. Born and raised catholic ive always returned or just quit going altogether. Ive grown tired of the strict structure and or no structure with other churches. This little church seems to hit that perfect balance of preaching gods word and letting you find your own way at your own pace. The family atmosphere and kindness makes you feel like your coming to visit family and friends. You leave hoping your new found family will be with you next Sunday. I have gone to two worship services in Longview at Promise and they were so amazing and on fire that I actually considered moving to Longview a possibility (bc I am looking for a new home). If you live in Longview and youre looking for a church, do not hesitate to go to this one. The people are amazing and the pastoral staff are too! The worship will blow you away. Jesus filled in every way.

Tony I havent been to church in 2 decades plus. Id been living a life excess. Breaking commandments. You could feel the dirt of sin on me. Then I walked into the The Promise and 20 plus years of sin fell off of me and I felt new. Ive been very sick and they laid hands on me last Tuesday and I felt new. My son told me about this place and how powerful it was. Hey wasnt kidding. Its Sunday morning and were getting ready to go and Im still feeling great. I cant wait to get there. God is ALIVE in that church. AMEN

Everyone here is doing the best they can to return to God and no one judges anyone else on where they are on that progression. Its a wonderful environment to come to every week.

Heather L Was just in the area visiting but felt very welcome and enjoyed the English and Spanish speaking merger in this congregation. It just happened to be fathers day so they had a beautiful musical number performed by all the youth ages 3-18. What a treat. The Sunday school class was phenomenal as well. Heidi S This is a great place to connect with God. The people are friendly but not in your face. It is kinda more formal, with people dressing up a little for church. First they met as a whole congregation, kids and all to take communion. They have normal people from the congregation give the sermons about Jesus and His teachings. Then they divided up into Sunday School. They had a Primary for children from 3-10. Nursery for babies 18 months to 3 years old. They had classes for teenagers divided up by age. Sometimes all the women meet together and the men have their own meeting, then sometimes they have normal Sunday school with men and women together. Its all pretty organized with a focus on trying to be like Jesus. I like it.

Keith Berlin This church is over by the Home Depot in Longview. The folks are friendly and they have complimentary tea or coffee available if you want it. The church really seems to be interested in what they can do to help the community and represent Christ better.

Cheryl Was there for a funeral, and the environment was very welcoming and comfortable. It was not a regular Sunday church service so cant compare the preaching style or any of the music in that way. Was a very very full House and the deceased was very beloved

Gabrielle Johnson Ive been taking my children to their VBS since my daughter was 5, shes 28. Now my grandchildren go. Weve been thru 2 buildings, 1 move and 19 teachers. We love it there and totally trust them. They feed them a nutritious breakfast and snack and lots of fun and learning. Beautiful people.

tricia Thorstenson We absolutely LOVE our church and have multiple generations from our family here. This is not a Church that has motivational messages and opinions from Pastor Josh. Pastor Josh preaches and teaches straight from the word of God each week and Pastor Josh encourages everyone to bring their Bible open it up and follow along in the Word. He encourages questions and discussion of the Word after service if you so desire :) The Youth program and childrens program are solidly ingrained with Gods word and lots of choices of Homegroups and Bible Studies to be a part of to be encouraged and to encourage others in small group settings.

Helen Merly I just love this church. We started going there because our son and his wife invited us. It is warm and welcoming, but what I like most is the outstanding preaching. I have not heard one thing preached that is not backed by substantial scripture. Also, the worship is beautiful and heartfelt.

Morning prayer and attentive elders Pastor Mark is beyond comparison and any words i would or could write would not do justice to his deliverance of Scripture in such a way as to personally write it upon each of our hearts.

The Crayon States People here are genuinely friendly, kind, and welcoming. It felt more like a real family gathering than just a Sunday program. Love the breakfast every Sunday in between the services.

Pastor Cole and Brittany Pruitt are wonderful church leaders and you immediately feel a part of the family the moment you walk in the doors.
