Steve Martin My family and I went there for Lunch, 4 adults 3 kids. We all had a meal plus 3 small milk shakes. And our bill was around $100.00 Very cheap place compared to other restaurants near the area. And the atmosphere was real nice. Also the restroom was one of the cleanest once i’ve seen.

James Hardy My wife and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience / Dinner. We started with salad. I had a half Cesar. Excellent dressing, my wife had the washington apple salad which was also delicious. Our entrees , my wife had the Ravioli evening special and I had the cod fish and chips, very good. Our desserts were the cheese cake and carrot cake and we both found them amazing, really good. For drinks, my wife had a lemon drop which she really enjoyed and I had a local peach cider (Excellent!) Our server was Taylor B and she was personable and and did an excellent job taking care of us. We will be back!

Pam Mills We had the water front combo delivered while staying in the area. This is our 3rd time getting pizza here while on vacation. Its rare to find pizza this good. The crust is perfect thinner and crispy. The topping to cheese ratio is so yummy and the sauce is not to much. Its just fantastic. Highly recommend.

Avant Lard Travel - by Houston Porter What a great spot for some excellent food in Port Townsend. We were actually some of their very first customers way back when they opened just prior to the pandemic and are so glad they not only survived, but at thriving because they have only gotten better with time. First off, we love that they have the local Port Townsend Brewing Company beers on tap. Second, we never pass up on a salmon chowder and this one is excellent, as was the delicious Reuben pastie and the crab Mac n cheese. The menu is fairly extensive and they also do daily specials, which add a nice change of pace. Third, we were there this time during some very cold weather but they keep the place warm enough that it was quite enjoyable to dine in, instead of taking our food to go, as we often do. Although unassuming from the outside, this is an excellent dining option when visiting Portugal Townsend.

Sheldon Broes Very good food. Easy to park. Nice people and a glass of water while I waited about 10 minutes for 2 Paninis. I took my dogs to a nice park with ducks next to Lila’s location.

Ron Woodhead Wow, what a great find as we motorcycled thru the area to visit the adjacent air museum... and needed a mid-afternoon snack. We enjoyed their homemade Marionberry pie a la mode with ice tea. We usually "Ride for Pie," but here folks can also fly-in for pie! Their pie-lady was making more pies, so theyre ready for your order. Friendly staff, too!

Brittany Cronin we loved! perfect post olympic np pre ferry meal. we got the emperor’s cashew with chicken, spring rolls, and a thai iced tea, split among two tiny dykes. big yummy portions owner charlie is super friendly. he’s had this place for 20 years, here’s to many more!

Jered McMillan Since I found Friendly Nettle almost a year ago Ive developed a serious obsession with their Banh Mi. I consider myself an amatuer-connoisseur-quasi-ad hoc-expert on these amazing sandwiches and these are by far the best Ive had. If you havent had a Banh Mi this is the place to start. If you love these as much as I do stop reading this and go get one! Well done Friendly Nettle! I will continue to follow you around and eat your sandwiches until you stop making them.

Nicholas B Could use some updating. Theres some arcade games but they barely work. Service was okay. Didnt seem like anyone was happy to be there. No one smiling. Also Im not a fan of ordering at the counter. I would prefer you seat us, give us a menu and take our order. The pizza was good but nothing to write home about. Had the all meat pizza and everything falls off. Maybe throw some extra cheese on after the toppings to hold it in place?

Michael Solid food, perfect service. A wee bit cold in the main dining room, but it was in the 30s and windy that day. Will definitely go back. Looks like they have a great summertime / outdoor setup.

Seth Steben A decent burger at a great spot. I am not going to pretend this is gourmet stuff, but the burger I ordered was really good. Highly recommend! Edit: This is now my go-to burger spot in town. The price is right, and the double cheeseburger is awesome. Did you know they are open in the winter? Thursday- Sunday opens at 11. Get a burger and enjoy it in your car watching stormy weather and waves crashing on the beach, or go explore the bunkers and stay dry. Winter is a great time to enjoy the Fort without all the tourists. Nice to have a great food option right there

Paul W Best dish: Scallops and avocado in a green curry coconut sauce. Beans, bell peppers, peas and carrots included as well. The warm avocado in this dish is unexpectedly good. Everything messes together. We spooned up the bottom of the bowl. Pad woon sen is also good. The Khu Karb lager on tap is light and refreshing, balancing any heat from the curry sauce. Too bad we didnt have room for dessert. The staff welcome everyone warmly and service is quick and efficient. Wonderful place!

Donna Hannan Lovely and popular local restaurant! Hearty breakfasts. I had my regular breakfast, a bowl of perfectly cooked oatmeal with apples and walnuts. I snagged my partner’s raspberry compote and added it in with a little honey. My partner had a traditional meal, sunny side up eggs, bacon and potatoes. Very tasty! Our table had a nice view of the marina.

Sharon Sa Perhaps one of the most underrated cafe in Port Townsend and one of our highlights was finding this adorable shop. It’s absolutely stunning inside and the pastries looked delicious. They have various wine and beer selection for sale but also offer a coffee menu and food. The best part? Dog friendly! We will definitely be back again!

Georgia Golla One of my favorite places I ate during my weekend stay in Port Townsend! This was a great date night dinner spot. Id say a little more on the fancier side of cuisine, but SO GOOD. I recommend making reservations as even during the winter (non peak visitor season) it was packed and all they had was bar seating (3 seats at the bar total). Its a smaller restaurant as well, which is another reason to make a resy. Food was SO delicious. Highly recommend the roasted garlic appetizer (it was our favorite).
