ABs Hillbilly Gyros - Oak Harbor (WA)

4 /5 Viv: The place is a little unkempt, there’s paint peeling off the walls and a general dirty kind of look, but it wasn’t terrible. The lady working the register and food was really nice, and the gyros weren’t half bad. The hillbilly gyro was also very yummy, and the rosemary lemonade for $1 was a hit for the kids.

1 /5 Nadia S: I was so disappointed to find AB’s hillbilly gyros is horrible! My husband and I went to try it after it being recommended to us several times. It was the biggest disappointment. The food was horrible and dry. Our fries were also old and dry. Customer service was horrible no one was polite. I also should’ve just walked out when I walked in and saw that the restaurant was pretty dirty. The dining area was nasty, and there were no clean tables. When we ordered you can partly see some of the kitchen and it looks awfully dirty. That should’ve been my first red flag and a sign to leave. All in all it was an overpriced disgusting gyro.

2 /5 Will Paterson: I got to say Im very disappointed, I went here for dinner based on recommendations from several people. Im not sure if I went on the wrong day or time. I arrived at 5:55 pm and ordered Lamb Souvlaki plate, I was told it would be 15 minutes for the rice, they started cooking the lamb right then. 25 minutes later I asked him whats up and he said the rice just got done, now he put the already cooked lamb back on the grill for my platter. 8 minutes later I get my meal. It has now been almost 35 minutes, the rice is dry and not fully cooked and my lamb is chopped into such little pieces and way overcooked. I hope others have a better experience. I am seriously disappointed and will never return, this has been the worst Greek food experience Ive ever had.

5 /5 Nick Morales: This "hole in the wall" serves up piping hot, super delicious, Greek gyros. I usually go with the traditional, but the first one on the menu has bacon in it, so if youre feeling adventurous and wanna try something a little different go with the #1!
