Boat Shed Restaurant - Bremerton (WA)

4 /5 Crystal Newton: Very inviting restaurant. Staff had great customer service skills. However they were about to close their kitchen for a few days which resulted in them being put of a fee menu items. But they made us aware as soon as our server approached the table. I had fish and chips. They were fried perfectly, however the batter was flavorless. It was supposed to be the cajun option, but I couldnt taste any spice. I ordered a rum punch no OJ. So they filled the drink with cranberry juice. I was not a fan of that option but I didnt complain I just finished the drink. Seating and table placement allowed a view of the water and pier. The atmosphere and view were amazing. I would return for the views and quaint dinning room.

5 /5 Rebecca VaDel: We chose the Boat Shed Restaurant for our company’s holiday team dinner, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and our entire group had a wonderful time. Every staff member we interacted with was amazing, but we especially want to thank Matt for his outstanding service and hard work taking such great care of our group of 30. He truly went above and beyond. We highly recommend the Boat Shed Restaurant and look forward to coming back. Thank you!

5 /5 Indiana Lanzas: I came here as my best friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. This restaurant has a waterfront view and the food is delicious. I tried the award winning clam chowder, crab and shrimp stuffed mushroom and halibut fish and chips. Everything was tasty but my favorite was the stuffed mushroom. There are so many delicious flavors in one bite. The fish was very tender and juicy. To drink I had a margarita, which was okay. The service was great. I got seated right away with the best view and the staff gave me suggestions on what to order. I would definitely return to grab a bite to eat.

3 /5 Amanda Cofell: Overall I would say the staff were great. The hostess was accommodating, our server was pleasant and the buss staff were very polite and on top of clearing plates as well As overall team players. The food was disappointing. We wanted to eat here the last night of our trip. I was looking forward to fresh delicious seafood. The clam chowder was “award winning” but I was not anticipating bacon in it. The calamari was over cooked but its saving grace was that it was not rubbery. The other saving grace was additional white dipping aioli that was not mentioned on the menu. My scallops were overcooked and dry on the outside while tender on the inside. It’s almost like the gravy they pour all over it is meant to make up for the lack of proper preparation. While eating the green beans (seasonal vegetable) I found a large French fry. I’m not sure how the cross contamination happened here. When our server came to check on us I mentioned it to her and she did not acknowledge it and turned her focus to a bunch of men who were out celebrating a bachelor party. My fiancé’s salmon was pretty good. Very nice cut of salmon. The rice seemed incorrectly prepared and I questioned if it was warmed in a microwave before plating. There were very hard bits in it that made me question if it was prepared properly. Overall, the service was decent. Coming from working in the industry, it’s always nice to see a good team. I think this is more the place you come for a decent drink and fried food. Perhaps the fish and chips would have been a better choice. The $180 bill was too high for the lack of proper preparation, cross contamination and overall meal.

5 /5 Enas Shawa: What an amazing experience. The food, the service “although a bit late to deliver our main courses”, and the views were fantastic. One of The best Calamari I’ve ever had in a long while. Food is well balanced with good portions. Definitely worth trying.
