5 /5 Matt Alberts: Another place that lives up to the hype! A+++ some of the best sandwiches Ive had traveling the country. The French dip is amazing with thick sliced tender roast beef on a quality bread. Au jus could personally be a little stronger but still excellent. The hot pastrami on rye(east coast) is easily among the best out there, including delis on the east coast. The Danish, cobbler and brownies were all excellent. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Service has been great, but dont go if youre in a real hurry. The place can be very busy, as it should be. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Terri DeLoach: Dropped in for lunch on a Thursday around noon. There was a line to order but it went quickly. I was drawn in by the desserts in the case. Ended up ordering the Panda Bear & berry cobbler. We also ordered a BLT on sourdough & a Tuscan Chicken Sandwich. Both sandwiches were hot & fresh. Omg the panda bear dessert is Amazing!!! Devil’s food cake, icing then covered in chocolate!!! Omg delicious !! Staff was friendly. Highly recommend for a yummy lunch. (Reasonably priced $48.00 for 2 sandwiches with chips, 2 drinks, 2 desserts & tip).

As a full-time content creator, I’ve eaten in a lot of places across the country, and this spot in Anacortes is hands down one of the best food stops I’ve ever hit. The sandwiches? Insane. The soups? Packed with flavor and loaded with hearty ingredients. And don’t even get me started on the desserts — the cheesecake and carrot cake were absolute perfection (and massive)! Everything here is made with love, served up with smiles, and the portions are huge — you’re getting real value and quality. The people working here treat you like family, and the old-school vibe of the place is just the cherry on top. If you’re anywhere near Anacortes and you don’t stop at Gere-a-Deli, you’re missing out big time. Whether you’re a local or traveling through, put this place at the top of your list. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best food.
