Hound + Bottle - Bremerton (WA)

5 /5 Hope Harms: Were from out of town, but every year or so we make it to Bremerton, and a meal at Hound + Bottle has become a "must" for us each trip. Theres craftsmanship in each dish and drink. The menu is tightly curated and changes seasonally with unique creations and superb spins on classics. The seasonal potpie is comfort year-round, theres sure to be an indulgent vegetarian option, and the specialty cocktails are always a treat. The space has a compact, intimate vibe that welcomes classy to casual. Weve had so many wonderful interactions with the staff, not just great service, but also fun conversation. Each of our visits to H+B has been as unique as the menu, and I look forward to it every time!

5 /5 Kelsey: Super cute and cozy atmosphere. The staff are beyond friendly and the menu is limited but fantastic. We ordered cocktails, white wine, and I got the crab cakes for my main meal. Absolutely fantastic food! It’s a little on the pricy side, but the quality and atmosphere make up for it. Bonus is that it’s dog friendly! My pup chilled out under the table and had a blast people watching.

1 /5 Gwenyth Masch: Atmosphere and drinks are great, and this is not a review of the service staff. The food is bland and overpriced. We ordered a plate of fries, a Caesar, and the pot pie. The fries were unsalted. Caesar had too much lemon and not enough anchovies, and the Romaine was still wet from being washed. Pot pie was also unsalted and the seasonal veggie mix seemed to be a frozen veggie mix from costco (the tattooed chef sheet pan veggies?) - however the crust was amazing. We went on half priced martini night and the martinis were still $11 each, but at least the spiced pear martini was good. Im not one to complain about food I didnt cook, but I personally feel I could have made everything we ordered and it wouldve been better. Generally dissapointed in the food, and hopefully the menu can get some tweaks to be more appealing.
