4 /5 Maxwell Price: I stayed here because it was 5 minutes from where I was working for two days and because I live near the McMenimans Anderson School and have been to several of the restaurants and bars there several times. The hotel is definitely a historic building. Definitely cool but also creaky and everything that comes with an old building. I thought the communal bathroom would bother me but it was not an issue. Several near my room. Room had no TV which I didn’t think about but I’m sure was advertised. Mt room was clean and the bathrooms were clean every time I used them. Close proximity to the train tracks is my biggest complaint. Very loud several times a night and in the morning with the horn because there is a crossing near the hotel. They have earplugs in the side table but I didn’t want to miss my alarm. The staff was very nice. The restaurant downstairs is good, I would recommend it. They have a movie theater. It was cheap and definitely interesting. I would say worth the money.

4 /5 Olivia: Just here for an historical lecture on Lewis County, and for that the big theater room was enjoyable. A variety of well loved sofas and seating you could bring your food to. Lots more spaces to explore — pool tables, shuffleboard etc. Did consider the bartender at the front bar not as friendly as could be shall we say but all other staff were accomodating.

3 /5 Noel Murphy: Everything was great until the breakfast. Got coffee, no milk or sugar. Had to go get it. Both items we wanted, fruit bowl and chicken fried steak where out of stock. Changed order and when it arrived, the waiter left us with no silver wear, we went and found some. Ordered a water and hot sauce..had to go get it after about 5 minutes of waiting as waiter had completely forgotten. The actual meal I got was the biscuits and gravy....quite forgettable at best. Non of this was due to it being busy as there were only about 6 people in the whole place and four of them where only drinking coffee. Dont bother with the breakfast voucher as it will only cover one person with the high prices they have. All it does it prevent you going to another breakfast place nearby of which there are plenty to choose from. While they do warn you about the trains, it is definitely a hard way to sleep with train horns going all through the night. The place is rustic with a neat history for sure and the bar(s) is/are pretty cool. Mens bathroom is quite unique!

1 /5 Scott Abbott: The prices for the amount of food you get is crazy even with today’s prices. El Diablo chicken sandwich wasn’t hot in the least bit. Chicken was very very small. Hamburger was mediocre and fries were dried out over cooked and hardly warm. Extra patty charge was $6.50! And corned beef sandwich was soggy but they did replace it. Not much meat either. Don’t waste your money! Took quite a while for food to come also.

5 /5 Blair Kemp: Such a great time. Dinner and a movie , drinks Shuffleboard and billiards were so fun. Shower head sucked but great atmosphere.
