2 /5 Aaron Salz: TOURIST TRAP: My wife and I ordered the Jonahs Crab Claws, fish and chips, and hushpuppies. The crab claws were tough, had very little meat, and ultimately didnt have flavor that stood out. The fish was entirely unseasoned and over-fried. The hushpuppies are marketed as containing crab, cheese curd, and jalapeno. We concluded that the only way they couldve really gotten this description was from an AI model trying to get people to order the dish. A more apt name would have been bread and butter hushpuppies. They contained none of what was advertised, but would be great for anyone looking for fried dough served on top of butter. I commend this restaurant for being able to earn such great margins on their food, and they are a testament to the fact that great location is all it takes to survive as a business. The drinks we ordered - both mixed drinks - were delicious but wildly overpriced. The service was great, so my wife and I almost felt guilty for how much we hated the food. We were very upset by what we had to spend to get what we got, but that could just be a Seattle thing...
