4 /5 Minh Hughes: Wings Pan is the latest eatery to find a place in Cheney. Im not sure what to classify this place as. A Korean restaurant, Korean-oriented, or a chicken place.
The pros:
-Its a Korean place!
-Korean-style chicken product! (not sure what that means)
-The sauces are quite good.
The Cons
-Prices feel a bit much
-Orders are slow.
-Unable to determine which dish is which. (This is probably nitpicky; writing on the container what the food is would help.)
-Portion size seems small for price.
Personal experience
I went twice. Got a beef bolgogi bowl and a spicy pork bowl. My kid felt that the spicy bowl wasnt very spicy. I enjoyed my beef bolgogi bowl but it was heavy on the green onions/radish. Wait time was probably around 15 mins. We werent quite sure which bowl was which, we kinda guessed.
The good news was there were at least 4-5 groups of people there when we went around 2.30pm on opening day. Also, the kid said the kimchi was pretty good (compared to offerings on the other side of state).
2nd visit, we got the chicken tenders. Soy Tango and Ginger Maple Ginger. The sauces were decent but we didnt know which tenders were which. (Because both were good, we didnt worry about it). Wait time was 30 mins or longer; again, 4-5 groups of people. Best bet might be to call it in and give em 30 mins.
End thoughts.
Not going to say more because its more opinionated than what people will want to hear. My excitement and fascination for this eatery was for the beef bulgogi. And that it was even in a bowl!
