5 /5 Osiel Zuniga: Not much to stay, mainly because I wouldnt like to share. But, they were very understanding and caring. I do feel bad for them because they are a small hospital and as a result, the workers are pretty stressed out.

1 /5 fabian cantu: DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. SEEK OPINIONS FROM OTHER DR’s OUTSIDE THIS HOSPITAL! That’s what saved my life. I was dealing with very serious pain that was due to Leukemia “blood cancer” at the time I went to the hospital I had no idea what was wrong with me. I went to this hospital several different times over the course of 3-6months in vital need of pain relief. One night when I showed up crying due to excruciating pain there was this female nurse that treated me as a drug addict. She first asked me if I was on drugs and then she kept telling me over and over “if you keep doing that stuff it’s not going to stop and you’ll be coming back again” she was referring me to a drug rehabilitation center. THIS IS THE WORST HOSPITAL TO GO TO. After going through that with that female nurse the next time I needed help I went to Memorial in yakima and that same night I was transported to Seattle Childrens Hospital where I found out I had cancer.

2 /5 Olga Gutierrez: My experience with this hospital was very disappointing. My grandfather was admitted for several days and there was a lack of communication between the nurses and social worker when it came to discharging him. We were told on Thursday, he would be discharged and transferred to a nursing facility that following Monday. One of my family members received a call from a nurse at the hospital, that Saturday morning, informing him that my grandfather was being discharged and needed to be taken to the nursing facility. The week before, I had informed and asked the nurses and social worker, that I be the person of contact regarding anything with my grandfather’s care. The family member that was contacted should not have been contacted and I made sure to express my frustration to the nurses station. I also expressed my concern and frustration with the nursing supervisor regarding lack of transparency when it came to my grandfathers transfer, lack of proper communication with the family, lack of communication with the staff at the hospital and last minute changes to his admittance and discharge. As I continued to speak with the nurse supervisor, I was informed that no such communication occurred regarding my grandfather being discharged the following week, from the social worker. The nurse supervisor also shared with me, how the social worker indicated on the transfer paperwork, that a family member would take him to the center. No such discussions occurred between myself and the social worker regarding transfer. The impression and feeling I received during this discussion was an urgency to remove him from the hospital and transfer him to nursing facility. I also felt the lack of accountability when it came to communication amongst the staff members. Once we had him at the facility, the staff there shared with us how they offered to transfer him from the hospital but were told the family had already made arrangements to do so, when we had not. I feel a deep sense of disappointment and sadness for those patients who have no one advocating on their behalf and have to deal with inconsistencies regarding their care and well being. My voice was strong when it came to speaking on my grandfathers behalf, but I will not be sending him back to that hospital for care in the future because my voice was not heard or respected.

2 /5 Mars: This hospital is better than memorial, I will say that. But half the time here they want to help you and half the time they don’t. I’ve been in this ER MULTIPLE times this year, and it could’ve been avoided if they genuinely cared abt their patients. First time I went in the ER was for a UTI, and I got a male doctor who gave me a female exam, and mansplained to me that I was just getting over a UTI. Didn’t prescribe antibiotics or nothing. The week after, I went BACK to the ER here for the same issue, had a different doctor and he took a urine sample. Well tests came back that I had a nasty UTI. I was in so much pain, they gave me morphine via IV, then prescribed me an antibiotic and Tylenol with codiene for pain. All of that could’ve been avoided if that doctor the week before listened to me, and took a urine sample. 9 days ago I went here again for throat pain, coughing, and constant runny nose. Was there for only an hour, they did a Covid and strep test. My strep came back positive, the doctor prescribed me augmentin, and sent me on my way. Here I am, 1 day left of my antibiotic, and it has not helped me. I now have pus and red lines on my tonsils, and left with throat pain, sweating, and a fever. I went to memorial 2 days ago and it was impossible to get help there, as I was waiting in the waiting room forever. So we left without help. This hospital in topps either wants to help patients or don’t.
