Bertelsen Winery - Mount Vernon (WA)

5 /5 Jeff Allen: Stopped in after longly anticipating and was not disappointed. Bertelsen def is the alpha of winery with in the area and they puff their chests out letting you know it. With a solid varietal of wines to choose from they serve ya a 4 pour (yes that rhymes) tasting of your choice on some of the more cooler platters I’ve seen. I personally love when these places add uniquely fine details to stand out, and Bertelsen makes you feel VIP when your out. This place will give ya live music in a beautiful setting and serve you with some beautiful smiles. I was really impressed by Heidi who personally picked our brain some and checked in from time to time. This place is so popular there is a wait list to join. If that don’t tell ya what’s up than I don’t know what’s up at all. Check them out and sip on some of that Syrah & Barbera. It’s some aphrodisiac for the mouth. ☺️

5 /5 Anushri H.V: Absolutely loved this place! The whipped feta small bites are a must-try—so flavorful. Their pizzas were delicious too. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We tried their wine flight and enjoyed it so much that we ended up buying a couple of bottles to take home. Highly recommend!

5 /5 caitlin thornburg: We rented the large facility for our wedding and it was just wonderful! We are also wine club members and everyone is just so nice here and welcoming. The food is so tasty and you might think the liquid on the pepperoni pizza is grease at first but don’t dab it off! It’s honey drizzle and it’s amazingly delicious!!! We bring our family here usually once every week or two and the kids enjoy the outdoor space while we sit, relax and eat. If the room behind the bar isn’t rented they also open it to people to sit and eat and enjoy conversation. We truly love Bertelsen! The owner Steve is also super nice and you can tell he loves what he does :)

5 /5 Rob Anderson: Although I’m sure this place doesn’t need a review from a cross-country traveler like me, I found the stop quaint and enjoyable. Pressed for time, we skipped the wine flight, which might have been a mistake. We should have taken a bit more time to enjoy the four wines it offered. However, the two glasses we did have were outstanding. This spot is right off the interstate, but you’d never know it while relaxing on their patio. It redefines highway rest stops for us. Despite the staff being busy, they were friendly and welcoming..

5 /5 Alexis DeSelms: Beautiful winery and tasting room. I just went for the tasting and charcuterie, which did not disappoint. It looks like they hots events as well and do a summer concert series, definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
