3 /5 Trin Vance: I went here for rental assistance, the woman working the intake desk was extremely rude and dismissive and on my first visit I was turned away when she informed me that they did not help with hotels. I came back the following week after finding out they did provide assistance and was turned away again when they told me they only provide assistance for hotels with a refferal from St. Vincent de Paul. After jumping through all the hoops they did provide $300 assistance and the rest of the people working here were amazing. So, if you plan on going here for any type of help....bring your patience.

5 /5 Lele James: Its been awhile since I have gone they are all really wonderful people. They dont mind if you have a million questions about their Faith and happily answer questions without getting upset about you questioning it and I absolutely love that. They are very excepting of the LGBTQ+ community.(They also dont care if you are alt,goth,emo,ect so dress however as long as you are at least dressed appropriately please)they are very welcoming people and they have the cutest play room for children and a separate room for babys if you are comfortable enough to leave them alone. Im not religious myself but I couldnt recommend it any more to anyone that is. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ (You should post more pictures to Google especially of when you guys do Christmas and Easter)

1 /5 CorneliaIshowsNProves Purdy: In my pursuit of locating rental assistance for a friend of mine connected them with St.Vincent de Paul who in turn referred him to The Good Shepard..He was instructed to go there Thursday at 930 got him there at 9 drove up he got out a fellow was in the office beside church came out told him he needed to b nx door at 10 AM left came BK at 10 where a woman came out he explained his situation and that the representative from STVDP had sent him along with the referral..long story short he got no help they didnt receive such referral then another man came out and backed the lady up who wasnt helpful from the beginning..he was told they didnt know why he was sent there and that the only help they give is 2 home owners..He even showed them correspondence between him and lady in which they still did not honor..Hate 2 say it but I told him day before he should have tough base with them a day prior 2 confirm his attendance and to also let them know he was African American...I find some people are caught off guard by that those of whom are stuck in the early 1900s..is sad nonetheless..meant to say Tuesday not Thursday,all in all again I was helping a friend out and is unfortunate but meant every word I said. No disrespect to the church itself or the pastor but the setup for the folks their hosting has brought forth my need to write this review
