3 /5 Azren Hollow: The church did not drop the food bank. And there are many many volunteers who have helped make that food bank be a reality. It wasn’t a one person show. Having refrigerator and freezer sections to store food is expensive. It not only took up space, but it caused a lot of wear and tear on the property. They were not only food donations, but grant money that was received. Plus the temporary shelters received grant money as well. The church was simply asking for help to pay with bills. The food bank was taking over the space in the church, so it makes sense that they would be expected to help chip in. The food bank refused. This is just one of many burnt bridges with volunteers and neighbors, and now with the very host church itself. They did a lot of good in the community but it is not surprising that it ended badly and publicly. It took many people to make that food bank a success. Not just one.
