I recently broke a tooth and they were able to fit me in that morning. Dr Fordham is so caring and attentive. As someone who has had a deep fear of dentists from a bad childhood experience I’m so thankful to have found this dental clinic.
Dentist Port Townsend .:.Dr. Tyler Fordham DDS - Port Townsend Dave Cunningham: Ive gone to dentists in several states for over 50 years, experienced the very good and the very bad. Dr. Fordham and his team are the best Ive ever seen. His office is clean and organized, the equipment is all new, and the staff is caring, efficient and friendly. The hygienist is outstanding, but most important of all, Dr. Fordham is young enough to be on top of all the latest advancements in dentistry, yet experienced enough to skillfully handle the tough jobs. I switched to his Peninsula Family Dental practice this year and will stay with him and his team of "K Girls" (all their names begin with K).
Admiralty Dental Center - Port Townsend Teresa Dukek: Fantastic customer care and service. Just switched over as a new customer and had my first appointment. Staff at the check-in/check-out were both friendly, professional, and proficient. The dental assistant was speedy and upbeat completing a full set of x-rays. Dr. Savidge was really helpful talking through his diagnosis on needed treatment. Thanks all!
Cunnington Dental - Port Townsend Laura Piacitelli: My husband has sleep apnea and did a home sleep test through Dr. Cunnington. They made him a dental device to alleviate the symptoms which included constant snoring. Im happy to report that our sleep is completely peaceful now and he feels so much better. Than you Dr and staff!! You are amazing!
Uptown Dental Clinic - Port Townsend Janet Carter: Unfortunately I have a long career of dental work beginning as a child, and had experiences throughout the country. I have encountered many dental practices including when I lived on the Olympic Peninsula previously. Some of the best experiences have been here in Pt. Townsend and happily my partner and are now patients of Dr. Mathias at the Uptown Dental. The practice is efficient, compassionate, and very skillful including our hygienist, Grace. Finding skillful and personable dental care has had to be a priority wherever Ive lived. Very grateful to have found Uptown Dental!

I let my mouth pain go for about two weeks before calling Sturdivant, a dentist I have gone to for a long time. It took a week to get the appointment and once in, it was confirmed that I had an infection from a cracked tooth. Damaged beyond repair, the tooth would need to come out; a simple, routine extraction. But the good doctor was not content with just removing that tooth. He thought the wisdom tooth, that was fighting its way through my gums, should also be extracted. I agreed before I knew that it was not going to happen that day nor by him. He referred me to an oral surgeon in Port Angeles and said, while at the same time, he would try to schedule me with their on staff oral surgeon. "We will call you", was the last thing they said to me.
The dentist in PA could not get me in for a consultation for two teeth, I was told, for four months. (I suppose I should have asked if it was less for just one tooth.) Three days passed and still no call from Sturdivants office, so I called them. When I informed them of the long wait time in PA, they said they would try to find me someone else - which, of course, I thought they were already doing. Being a Friday and still being in considerable pain, I asked for a renewal of my pain med, even if only one or two doses. All I received was yet another promise of a call back "first thing Monday morning."
By noon on Monday, another week now passed, I received no call back nor could I get a human on the phone, like they were screening my calls. I had to get proactive and find another dentist. Done and done. As x-rays are now digital, I called Sturdivants answering machine again and asked that they email the x-rays to the new dentist. They did not; not even when the new dentist called them with the request.
By the end of the next day, all was good in the mouth-hood. The bad tooth was extracted in less than a half hour and cost $401, which I gladly paid.
The $163 that I paid to Sturdivant, who did nothing (except give me a prescription for an antibiotic and 6 pain pills), however, is not OK.
It is time that WE took back our RIGHT to affordable healthcare from true professionals and not the greedy, feckless hacks who pass themselves off as such. BOYCOTT UNPROFESSIONAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS. REPORT THEIR BEHAVIOR TO THE HEALTH PROFESSIONALS LICENSING BOARD IN OLYMPIA.

Dr. Sul Hong took my case even though I was turned down by two other implant specialists in Seattle. Dr. Hong successfully raised my sinus lining and placed bone grafts in my jaw. My healing was carefully monitored and my implants are now ready for new teeth. Dr. Hong and his staff are always friendly and supportive. I highly recommend the quality of his work.

I live in Port Angeles and the bus/car ride is so worth it to come to this amazing clinic with awesome staff members. The dentists are also amazing, doing dental work same day just so patients aren’t in pain anymore from a bad tooth ❤️
