5 /5 Talia Bursell: Dan is the best! He thoroughly inspected my car to figure out everything that was wrong with it and was very honest about the pricing. He saved me thousands of dollars on trying to fix it. Will be returning for repairs on my next car.

5 /5 John Neillie: I have known Dan for several years. He used to service some of the cars from my work. He always stood behind his work and was very fair with his prices. I liked him so much I started servicing my personal cars there. His knowledge, his courtesy and his work are phenomenal. Dan has always been a straight shooter and never tried to upsell parts or work I didnt need. He has always delivered on time and on budget (often less). I have told all my friends about him because you can trust him. Its nice to have such a great, knowledgeable, kind, trustworthy mechanic. Theres a lot out there who arent. I would have no problem sending my mother, my son or any loved one there. You can trust Dan. Hes one of the good ones.

They take the time to walk you through what they’ve found and options that would work best for both you and your vehicle before they proceed. It is always nice to have an understanding of what is going on and since the staff talk you through the process and make sure you have your questions asked it’s a place I continue to bring my car back. Mechanics are always friendly and try and make your experience which can be stressful an enjoyable experience and might try and get you to laugh. Happy with their work and staff. Will continue to return there for future work done on my car.

5 /5 Ryan Hosken: Ive spent years trying to find a mechanic (or dealership) that I would want to return to after the initial visit. Trust is important. I gave GN NW a try and was not disappointed. The many five star ratings align with my experience. The garage isnt much to look at, if you can even find it (on McGill just off Evergreen Way), but they do good work. There are other decent (four-star) garages in the area, but Ill be returning here as long as they are in business. Dan made excellent recommendations on break sets and charged me cost, quick repair of hatchback door without charge (I brought the actuator), and replaced a few hard to reach lights. If nothing else, since I own a Subaru, Ill be back every time one of my door lock actuators fail, which so far has been all five of them (some twice).

I rarely write reviews for any reason good or bad, but I felt compelled to reiterate what hundreds of other customers have said about GN Northwest: they are the BEST automotive performance repair shop in the Seattle area. Dan and Christian are honest, knowledgeable, and awesome mechanics. They genuinely care about the quality of their work. Whether it’s preventative maintenance, general repair, or performance modifications, they will get it done correctly at a reasonable price.
