1 /5 Jordan Benjamin: We were very involved with Grace for many years, but recently decided to find a new church. When we broke news of our departure to church leaders, we were massively disrespected, bullied, gossiped about, slandered, and then gaslighted. Unacceptable behavior and totally unprofessional from pastors John and Jason. If you cant handle gentle criticism, dont ask for it. It seems as though power has gone unchecked for too long at Grace which may explain the leaderships arrogance and churchs polarizing culture-led eisegesis. A saving grace, we did make some lifelong friends at this church whom we cherish dearly.

5 /5 Maura Lombardi: This church was a good find for me while visiting Seattle. The liturgy is structured in a traditional format, and I found the music beautiful, the sermon helpful, and the worship touching. The teaching was spiritual, scriptural, and insightful. Also, I was happy to see the elders and deacons actively and cheerfully serving.

1 /5 Stephanie Drury: This church is actually a business. We attended for many years and considered them our family. Then they rewrote the vision statement to conveniently fire the music leader and hire someone more subservient. When told the leadership how heartbreaking it was that theyd do this to a family in the worst economy, they told me my intuition was wrong and sat blank-faced as I spoke. My husband then repeated when I had just said and they suddenly acted interested and told him that was interesting insight. Thats when I saw how they truly view women and I knew I couldnt raise my kids in this place. They operate from significant social and economic privilege and very little diversity. This is a country club masquerading as a church.

3 /5 S R: LOVE LOVE LOVE how the pastors talk weekly about important issues pertaining to systems of privilege and levels of oppression as they try to retrain some of the historically problematic ideas out of the church. Unfortunately I can only give 3 stars due to lack of diversity; all upper leadership and pastors are cis-men. Would also love Grace to talk about the T in LBGTQ as many of my marginalized friends dont feel the church is inclusive enough.

5 /5 Disco Candy (Button): Love this place and the community here. The pastors preach from the Bible and tell it like it is, without shying away from hard topics, but always focusing on the hope of the gospel. If youre new, make sure you check out the community groups listing in the bulletin to get plugged in better with people who attend from your neighborhood.
