06-2025 Grant County Tourism Commission in Hight rate 1 location for tourist in Ephrata, WA, USASurf n Slide Water Park - Moses Lake Dallas Easter: Great way to cool down on a hot day. My kids absolutely loved the park. Admission fee was reasonably priced. Felt safe with all the life guards that are constantly on duty. Outside food is allowed but there is also a place that sells food their as well. We got a chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream cone and some authentic tacos but there is a lot more to choose from. We loved the lazy river and splash pad area. We had a great family fun day!
Moses Lake Museum & Art Center - Moses Lake Richard Worthington: I had such a great time at this museum! Free admission and a super affordable membership—plus 50% off t-shirts—made it even better. The variety of exhibits was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved the old-school pressed penny machine, too! It was the perfect place for a fun, educational experience with the kids. Definitely recommend visiting, and I can’t wait to go back soon!
Blue Heron Park - Moses Lake Cherrymae Wimmer: Lots of parking (free) I can only imagine in the summer this park gets packed! Great sized play ground, need more benches or picnic tables around playground. Standard restrooms, has trailer/boat parking. No grills, lots of grass area to play and picnic.
McCosh Park - Moses Lake Joe Morgunov: The prak itself is really nice and very huge. Nice green grass thats well taken care of. Nice view of the lake. There are huge trees that provide plenty of shde throughout the park. Tenis courts. There are a lot of playground and picnic areas here. Seems like every time Ive stopped by here, there are drug related hangouts behind the stage or by the bathrooms. Thats the only thing that makes me a bit uncomfortable when I bring my kids here
Civic Center Park - Moses Lake Danyelle Warner: Lovely place to walk, enjoy the gardens or take kids to visit the turtles at the visitor center! Gift shop offers a nice selection of treasures, mementos for all ages!
Yonezawa Park - Moses Lake Rek Aksky: One of the biggest parks close to I-90 in Moses Lake. There is a playground. Enough parking. Huge grass area to play football soccer baseball. No nearby toilet, though. Its quite noisy being close to a busy road.
Potholes State Park - Othello Stephanie Munroe: Stayed over Memorial Day Weekend in a tent space. Loved listening to the bullfrogs at night. Water and vault toilet was close by, area kept clean by volunteers throughout the day. Nice park for kids, did not see a swimming area, that would be the one thing it could use. I just might not have seen it. There is a large area along side the boa launch, but people were fishing there, so not sure kids should be swimming there in case of lines and hooks.
Bottle Beach State Park - Aberdeen Tiffany C.: This beach park is beautiful. Tons of parking then like a 7 minute walk to the beach. Once there it’s stretches for miles both ways. You will find glass, pottery, and a ton of huge tires on the beach. There are few houses on the beach to rent. There’s a ton of shells to find as well. Be sure to check for low tides so you can walk way out there. Right now the low tides are at 4-5pm. There is lots of amazing places to sit and watch the water. Tons of things to collect. There is also bathrooms and dog friendly. You will need a pass for this park.
