Natalie Donovan: Pretty little mile long trail between the road and some marsh that leads to a literal trucker parking lot lol. Few people on the trail that were living there.. but it was a cute little walk to tire my kid out, probably not as nice in the later seasons.

Vinit Shah: Beautiful lake! Fantastic place to get out in the water. The “beach area” isn’t the best and not too big, but the lake is clean, big, and offers fantastic views of Rainier on a clear day.

Mi Kuffman: This is a nice little park, very small, with the best access to the nicest lake in Lakewood. Parking is awful, and you may have to walk. This is where the only public boat launch is located. I put in here to paddleboard the lake.
    Wards Lake Park - Lakewood

John A Richards: Lots of debris and human littering. Lack of care and maintenance. Parking lot closed for no reason. The trails shown on the app “ All Trails” are not kept up. This park is for all people paid for by city taxes, but it seems the city fathers have turned it over to unsavory characters using it for “off the books” dealings. The display says that the oak Savannah here is “one of management.” That is ironic. Shame on you City of Lakewood calling this a ‘park’.

Laura Montes: Nice little park for kids if youre in the area, especially if didnt take a car to the island and are waiting around for the ferry. The park had a basketball court, gymnastic bars, kids playground and small pavilion. I can see why its named sunken park.

Jennifer Suriano: Beautiful, tranquil outdoor space with unique sculptures and poems. We only had about 30 min, so didnt see the whole park. I would estimate that one could easily spend several hours enjoying the art and grounds.
