06-2025 John Storvik Playground in Hight rate 11 location for tourist in Anacortes, WA, USAKiwanis Waterfront Park - Anacortes RaeRae Hayes: A pretty little rocky beach area, but a bit loud because its right next to the ferry dock. I still enjoyed myself, there is a bench on the trail that overlooks the water and a picnic table at the very beginning of the trail. It was nice, but I wont be back unless Im there for the ferry.
Sharpe Park & Montgomery-Duban Headlands - Anacortes Danielle: One of my absolute favorite hikes—truly breathtaking! A variety of trails lead through stunning landscapes, with towering trees, vibrant flowers, and fascinating succulents. Birds fill the air with their songs, and the water views are nothing short of spectacular. My kiddos handled the trail like champs, making it a perfect family adventure! There is a bathroom at the entrance so make sure to use it before hand! Decent amount of parking too. Highly recommend taking a picture of the map so you can kind of see where you are going, the trailheads do have names on them too.
Beacon Rock State Park - Stevenson Thomas Neel: Beautiful hike to the top, and very nice that there are railings as well. Best views are along the hike; there are many trees at the top which limits the view. Overall, an amazing hike that anyone visiting this area should check out.
Columbia River Gorge - Society Paranormal (Ghost Finder): The Columbia Gorge is one of the most beautiful places Ive ever lived. There is so much to see. People take pride here in the Columbia Gorge of the Beauty and the cleanliness.
Im originally from Atlanta Georgia and Ive lived all over the country but I consider the Columbia Gorge my home.
Pool of the Winds - WaterfallPerson: 04/12/25
A nice spot to cool off and enjoy the odd and unique geology of Hamilton Mountain and its slopes.
The waterfall that plunges into here is Rodney Falls. It starts off with a bang as it plunges into this alcove and funnels through the rock before cascading down where a footbridge crosses right at the base.
Columbia Gorge Museum - Stevenson Morai Ball: It was cute and beautiful museum. 10bucks for each one(adult) teens 8bucks, under 5yo is free. Restroom is clean, facilities are super clean and neat. We had a great time. Not many people were there so plenty of space to go to see the Columbia Gorge history. We had a great time. Crews are kind and friendly.
Imagine Childrens Museum - Everett sophy long: Admission is free every 3rd Friday. It gets very busy, but Im so happy to see them doing this for the community. The building was recently renovated and has new attractions. Great for 2yrs-12 yrs or so. Parking is cramped and the closest lots are paid. Street parking is available and if youre within a block its a nice short walk .
The Rucker Mansion - Everett Debbie Bitts: Rucker Mansion, A time capsule of grandeur days. Spectacular wrap around porches overlooking Possesion Sound. The staircase bold and magnificent, a centerpiece paired with a gigantic mirror at its base. The basement encased in windows is a terrarium, a place for exotic plants. The carriage house alone is large enough to have its own address. This noble mansion is an icon from a different era.

Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens - Everett Violetta Fedotova: Visited this place several times. It is a nice garden that is completely free to visit, quiet and peaceful. Its nice for a walk and also to paint. For winter and early spring they put up handmade ornaments and decorations. Its small, but located near a body of water. So after visiting the botanical garden you can enjoy the view of water with a never ending horizon.
