peacemusiclove 86: Gabriella Story is awesome!! Ive had her cut and color my hair 3 times and if I wasnt going to be moving out of state soon, Id still be going to her. She always has great ideas and gives me exactly what I want. Shes a blast to talk to and is excellent at her job. If Im ever back in the area Ill be making another appointment!! Thanks for everything Gabby!! Youve been wonderful!!
Robyn Beckman: I had a fantastic facial from Bryka. My skin felt terrible for months and she was so good at her craft. I was very comfortable, relaxed and the products and techniques she used helped me to feel so much better! I will be seeing her again. If you have needed or wanted a facial, I highly recommend her!
Tara Elken: Lengthy visit. Owner/Operator has a lovely personality. Working mom. If you are looking for "glamorous". This is not the place. Hair services were my visit. The environment is down to earth. Chatty. If you are on a tight schedule or easily over stimulated I would suggest that you call ahead and specify your needs. A tad on the expensive side but not executive level. I recommend you visit here at least once or twice. You might just fall in love.
Angelina McCumber: I should have done this last February when I got to experience Chong. I had a haircut, and she was extremely open to my suggestion, but she was also a great student of a clients character and knew what hair style would fit me as an individual. She did not rush at all. In fact, she took her time to make sure that my haircut was up to par. I wanted my hair colored, but she firmly explained to me that during that time, a perm would ruin my still dyed hair. She was definitely not all about the money. I consider her to be an artist and a very loving person because she even suggested that I can go somewhere else if I really wanted a perm because she cared more about how my hair should be taken care of so that it wont end up damaged.
We spent the whole time talking about me. She is an empath, and for some reason, I opened up to her that day because I was going through something. She genuinely cared, and I felt seen and heard. She even drove me home!
The next day, I asked if we could work on my haircut a bit more, and she was so gracious about it. Unlike other salons, she never charged me for extra work.
I remember that she styled my hair because it was the weekend, and jokingly said that I deserve a "weekend look!" When I mentioned that I wish I could do the styling myself at home for special occasions but did not have the proper instrument, she had an extra one and gave it to me.
I went to her salon to look good, but I ended up having a great relationship and went home knowing I had a new friend who might have my back if I needed her.
I would like for you to receive the treatment she gave me! This is why I wrote a lengthy review.
sheri arveson: Tessa is fabulous, very professional and definitely knows what she is doing . Made me look fabulous. She is so kind and makes you feel so welcome .
DUSTIN ROBILLARD: The young man that did my cut was GREAT. The atmosphere is very upbeat with hip hop/rap playing in the background, a pool table you can play on while you wait. All in all, its a generally good vibe.
My barber was very pleasant to talk to and was attentive to what I wanted done with my cut. I asked if be also did beard grooming, and he said yes. To wit, I got a great trim on that as well. Im a 50 year old man, and the barbers that were there were on the younger side (mine was 24 iirc) but I didnt feel at all out of place. The other barbers that were there were very cordial as well.
They dont do appointments, which was fine for me. Total time for a month long needed cut and beard trim was about 35-45 minutes. The price was as to be expected ($50 total after 25% gratuity). Ill do my walk-ins here from now on.
