She has always done an amazing job and has a high level of professionalism. She genuinely cares about her clients and does everything she can to give them the best experience possible. I love my hair every time she does it whether its a new style or color. She really takes the time to get to know her clients, what they want and like, and makes sure to deliver the best result. She communicates extremely well and educates me on my hair, how to take care of it and gives me the best tips for my best hair! I highly recommend her and Salon Blue!

Studio LaRue Salon - Oak Harbor Alyssa Dey: I had my hair toned and washed today by Dahnyelle and it was awesome! They use high quality products, their shampoo bowls are comfy, my hair looks & smells AMAZING. All the girls in the salon were welcoming and fun! I honestly had a blast getting my hair done here! 10/10!
The Seaside Spa & Salon, North - Oak Harbor Kimber Berentson: I really love it here! I’ve had massages, facials, hair and nail services and feel well taken care of every single time. The infrared sauna is amazing and highly underrated. Today I saw Elva for a hard gel manicure with Valentine’s Day nail art, she was so welcoming and is super talented. I’ve worked in the spa industry for over a decade and this is the only spa in town I trust to do a great job every time!
Allure Salon and Spa - Oak Harbor Kiara Bagasan: Everything came out great! This salon has apprentices working along with professionals, so be ware that you’ll be working with potential beginners/not as experienced practitioners.
I went in for a full dye and worked with an apprentice, Kylie, she was very helpful and friendly - helped me pick a color out nicely! I’d recommend being thorough with discussing what you want, make sure to be detailed.
The only complaint I’d give has to do with the attentiveness to clients, from a customer service perspective, things could’ve been more personable as that applies to customer - service provider relationship.
During busy hours things feel a lot more rushed, whether that has to do with my stylist or not, I personally felt slightly rushed. But once everything died down, that’s when I felt that more detail was applied to the job.
Overall, though, I’m happy I went! It’s a beautiful salon with lots of choices and options, a variety of stylists there and I felt the passion for beauty these ladies had.
