1 /5 Haeun J: I have naturally curly hair and have been doing a straight perm periodically twice a year. First of all, it is cheap for a reason. Quality is bad. I asked for a straight perm twice, both two times were not straight and ended up damaging my hair. This has NEVER happened to me before in any other hair salon. The second time I did my hair here, I waited for 6 days to call the owner. (I was instructed to not wash my hair for 3 days, and wanted to believe the product was not absorbed yet, so I waited another 3 days for better result)
After I showed the picture, the owner admitted that it was not done correctly, but refused a refund. Just asked me to come and she will do it again. I said I wanted a refund since she failed twice, but she said she is not in charge of the finances of her salon with other excuses. So I told her I filed a chargeback on my credit card to avoid arguing.
I called the shop after 2-3weeks regarding the status of the chargeback. The owner said she’ll ask her son whos in charge of the finances. I waited for a day, and her son used his personal phone to call me and asked what happened. I was super uncomfortable, and a bit scared that she shared my number without my CONSENT. I am still confused why I was explaining this to her son who was not in this situation with no knowledge of cosmetology. Son said he talked to his mom and decided that they can’t do a refund since they can’t always make the hair 100% to fit clients tastes..? LOL
This is the worst experience I ever had with a salon, I highly highly do not recommend this place.
