Im a senior citizen. I got there early and they said that I didnt confirm my appointment. I told them that they didnt tell me I had to confirm it. Then the receptionist told me that they were supposed to call and verify it which they didnt and the dentist in charge of my appointment isnt there. 5 mile walking round trip for nothing

Scenicview Dental - Yakima June Jung: I have to say this office had the least professional billing experience I’ve encountered—and Ive been to several dentists due to moving around frequently. When my insurance changed, I called ahead to confirm whether Id need to pay anything out of pocket for my routine checkup. The front desk staff took my insurance information, assured me theyd check, and promised to call me back before my appointment. However, I never received a call.
When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk staff informed me that they had looked into it online and found no difference between in-network and out-of-network coverage. Based on that information, I proceeded with my routine cleaning and even scheduled an appointment for my husband, who has the same insurance.
Weeks later, I received a bill: $100 for my cleaning and $450 for my husbands first-time checkup (not even a cleaning!). When I called to inquire, the staff vaguely explained that it might be due to the office being out-of-network. They said they would follow up with the insurance company and get back to me. Yet again, I received no follow-up. I had to call back myself, and they asked if I could contact the insurance company directly.
After speaking with my insurance company, I learned that the charges were due to the office being out-of-network, which caused the costs to exceed the allowed amount. When I asked how I could have known this beforehand, the insurance company explained that providers must check this information with them before the appointment to get an accurate breakdown.
While I understand that the insurance website breakdown was somewhat misleading, I expected the dental office to handle this as part of their routine practice. Im not aware of all the complexities with insurance, which is why I called ahead and provided my insurance details. That was the whole reason I reached out beforehand. This lack of professionalism and communication is frustrating.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and my routine checkup went well. However, the billing experience left much to be desired, and I dont feel confident returning for future visits.
Yakima Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - Yakima taylor moulton: Dr.Hudson did my wisdom teeth extraction, the staff was very professional and accommodating as I was extremely anxious. He and the staff walked me through every step so I understood what was going on up to the point I went under anesthesia. The nurse in the recovery room was awesome as well. If you’re looking for a dr to do your wisdom teeth extraction, dr Hudson did a great job.
Affordable Dentures & Implants - yakima - Yakima Mario Miranda: Would be nice to have a decent dentist. The best one you had was anesthesia. She was awesome and she knew what she was doing. Its going on 2 years. And I still dont have my finished teeth now. Happy
Hemenway Steven B DDS - Yakima Rebecca Teagarden: Dr. Hemenway and crew are terrific, they are. On time, friendly, thorough and efficient. And, if you dont need an expensive procedure, he would not recommend one. If possible he makes it all easier than you thought it would be.

Update: spoke to one of the owners and had a good, genuine conversation. We are going to give them another shot because we do really enjoy the dentists!

Years ago when I emergency seen their Dentist for a Ruptured I was seen and I have no more Pain. So This Is a 2nd Visit I made a Visit Theirs a Stupid Room they Have @ this Dumb Dentist Doctors Location. So I was the 1st one there by 7am. As I entered I also Filled Stupid Paper work out. The Form was super 1 page. It’s So Stupid here. With Waking to get Their and Being 1st person Their. I was not seen by Their Dentist.
Selah Family Dentistry - Selah Deanna Lyman: From the first time my daughter had an issue with a retainer that has her false front teeth, due to busting them out 6 years ago, this crew has been AMAZING! First time they got us in same day and ordered a new one which was done the following morning! A little less than 6 months later the new retainer came apart one afternoon. I called and they set an appointment for first thing the next morning. They took new impressions then sent it out to be repaired and strengthened. The retainer was returned to the office IN THE SAME DAY!!! They got her in late afternoon to have it fitted. All in ONE DAY!!! I cannot thank them enough!
For a teenager in high school this was so very important. It would be for many people.

Gamache Orthodontics - Yakima SooMee Summerville: I cant say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Gamache and his team! The office is modern, clean, and comfortable, with a friendly staff that goes above and beyond . Dr. Gamache is knowledgeable, patient, and truly listens to your concerns. He explained every step of the treatment plan in detail. I had 2 kids go through treatment here. The level of care and attention to detail was amazing.
The office also runs on time, which is always a huge plus. The team makes sure that every visit is smooth and efficient.
Highly recommend Dr. Gamache to anyone looking for orthodontic care. You won’t be disappointed!
