Newcastle Beach Park - Bellevue (WA)

3 /5 cat: Decent park with a pretty good view of the water. Only rating it 3 stars because we weren’t allowed to go in to a certain part of the water and the part we could go in, was very small and crowded with children. The life guard was aggressive and rude when warning us. Another lady was also targeted because she was not allowed to bring her dog on the grass area??? Which makes no sense because other beaches and parks allowed dogs and people to go in all areas of the water! We probably won’t be back :)

4 /5 Ji Cai: This park has convenient beach access, and nice view of the lake. It also has a big grass lawn that allows kids running around.

5 /5 Jeremy L: This is a really nice park. The beach area is fairly small but there’s tons of grass area with really nice opportunities for shade. There’s a really nice playground for the kids. There’s gazebo spaces with picnic tables. There’s restrooms near the beach and tons of grass area for you to set up your own shade. Make sure you bring your own chairs or places to sit since there aren’t that many options, but this is a really nice spacious area. watch out for the geese. They tend to take over the grassy areas closer to the water. lots of poop on the ground. Other than that though this is a really nice park/beach/playground.
