He is so knowledgeable about how and why hair does what it does, and what you need to help it look its best. My hair has never looked and felt so good. As a curly girl, I appreciate that knowledge! Ryan talked him into doing what looks best for his facial structure and head shape. He got him on a hair regimen that has made his hair so healthy and less straggly. He sees him monthly now for haircuts & beard shaping touch ups. I highly recommend Ryan. Attached is his hair before & after seeing Ryan, he’s looking so handsome these days!

His knowledge and experience shocked me at first - I had no idea that people could be that committed and passionate to something as hair. If you want to look your best, this is your guy.

5 /5 KA: Ryan (I hope I got his name right) is really excellent at his craft that much is obvious right out the gate, but the experience you get is insane for the low price range. Ryan goes in DEPTH on your hair, marketing manipulation, products, his mission and plan, and even educates you on religion! (He just makes comparisons to religion is all with hair not actually teaching you I just made a bit of a joke) A disclaimer however to anyone new is you need to come in with an open mind and throw away what you think you know about your hair and approach this experience with an open mind. Ryan is a professional and probably knows a bit more than you do. Trust the process and let him do whats hes spent 20+ years doing!

5 /5 Shannon Talley: I’ve been going to Ryan at Off the Top Barbershop for a lil over 3 years now. His shop is different than the rest. Ryan is not the cut by numbers shop you get at the local strip mall. Ryan cuts according to your hair type, part and head structure. Meaning what looks good in the magazine might not work for you depending on your head and hair type. I knew this before I went to his shop. He explains this in his disclosure prior to scheduling an appt. On your first appt Ryan talks to you about YOUR hair and how to care for it to achieve the best head of hair for you. I went in with an open mind to try something different than the regular cheap cuts! In the end I like the service I receive and his cuts grow out amazing. When my hair is getting long it still looks good because Ryan doesn’t cut using the clippers with a guard and just follows your head. He offers a wide range of services you can’t get just anywhere. I like his beard service with straight razor and hot towel! If you want a cheap budget cut this is not the shop for you. If you want a great cut that looks good and grows out evenly this is the shop for you!
