2 /5 Kaiwing Kong: I told him I want purple, he said yes. My hair turned out blue. He argues with me that this is purple??????? Then he said he wanted to dye my hair blue from the beginning. Like dude why don’t you tell me from the beginning you are not listening to me and doing blue? So I can just walk out of the door?????? Ewwww

1 /5 Phanna Tha: I went in showing the stylist a few pictures of how I wanted my highlights to be. I was very specific on what I was asking for. My main concern was blending in my grays. He suggested I do full fine highlights. He showed me a picture of what would be the outcome. He confirmed that there would be lots of highlights to blend with the grays. He confidently said that it was achievable. I was then quoted $330 for the service. I agreed and we started. 3 1/2 hours later my hair looks NOTHING like the photo he showed me. It was all very dark, almost one tone. Instead he tries to tell me. This is a more natural method/approach and took no responsibility for the very different end result that had been requested. He then proceeded to tell me that Im required to tip him 15-20%. Even though the sign says it was "recommended". I am very disappointed, unhappy about the results and the whole customer service exchanged. I made no fuss about all the BS, paid and left. Mind you, Ive gone there many times for their haircuts. I do not recommend nor will I ever go back.

One time I went to here, they ran out of print paper in the pos machine, but I already paid and also show them my transaction record on my bank mobile app, also left my number in case there is a problem. But the old lady in this store followed me immediately to 99 ranch and stalked me and my friends until she realized I noticed all of this. I think she probably wants to follow me out of the mall and wrote down my car plate number or something. It’s so weird and creepy. And they are also terrible at cutting hairs for sure. Didn’t come back again since that time.

3 /5 Lee: They gave me a decent haircut, but they gave me a perm without asking for my permission. That turned what I thought was a $40 haircut into a $267 haircut. Afterwards, they forced a 15% tip on me. Im heavily considering disputing this on my credit card. I used to go here quite frequently as the normal haircuts were solid. I will not be going back ever again. The barber also showed me a hair style and said it would look good on me. I agreed to it, but the result wasnt even close to the photo. I do not wish good things for this hair salon. Edit: Changed to 3 stars. Ive gotten so many compliments on this haircut and it looks pretty good after growing out for a week or two. In terms of skill, theyre pretty good, but their business practices leave the utmost bitter taste in my mouth. I would consider coming back, but Im still hesitant.
