5 /5 Doug Hilo: We have visited Port Townsend several times over past 14 years and it steadily evolves, there are hard core boatyards that haul and repair boats, it has a cute old historic town worth several hours strolling, farmers markets, Deer wandering around and the ferries leaving for places across the sound. It is also the North Gateway to Olympic Peninsular which while a long drive to Westport is well worth it...Leave early.

5 /5 Ernie Vasquez: Pocket park has nice playground and scenic water view. Restroom is nearby with lots of parking available. Eating establishments also nearby except closed on holiday. Gift shops line the streets also mostly closed today on New Years day. Nice place to walk.

5 /5 Brad DAndrea: Waterfront park with amazing views all around. Surrounded by the historic buildings of Port Townsend, filled with varied shopping and swanky eateries. You can catch glimpses of mountains about anywhere. Raineer still looms out across the water. Of course there are the nearby Olympics as well. There is a playground for young children. A covered water observation area for year round viewing of the surrounding scene. There is also a public building and pier.Overall a gorgeous downtown park in the heart of downtown Port Townsend.

Wildcraft Rose: Really distinct little town with beautifully well maintained Victorian buildings from days gone by. Good views, shopping, lodging, dining, architecture, beach, just a lovely welcoming atmosphere.

Fort Casey State Park - Coupeville

Sijeeta Deb: We loved exploring the park with many historical stuff, bunkers and lighthouse. The trail is easy and nice. Really a great place to have picnic with friends and family. We could see the sea lions too. The lighthouse has a museum to explore and gives access to go to the top and no entry fee. A lot of parking space is available.

Kah Tai - Port Townsend

Maia Hammy: The story trail is handicap accessible, although parking is a lacking. The first section is paved, then it transitions to packed small gravel and dirt. Some cutoff trails cross the dirt and grass and arent so accessible. Great trail for everyone--dogs, runners, birds, and wheeled visitors. By the way, the lagoon is a small lake, very pretty a D full of diverse native species of tres, birds, and berries. Loved the story, very appropriate to the surroundings. Lots of dog walkers out and about. (Bathrooms are locked and therefore useless.) We stayed on the trail to protect the habitat.

Mystery Bay State Park - Nordland

Jen McNaught: We launch our boat here every year over the Fourth of July! Nice dock to be able to walk to your vessel instead of having to wade through the water. Plenty of parking for trucks and boat trailer and have never had an issue with anyone messing with vehicle or equipment. The bathroom are always open and very clean. They also keep the toilet paper stocked and sanitizer available right by the door to use on your way out. Mystery has plenty of beach area to get your feet wet as long as it’s not high. My kiddos love jumping off the dock into the water every year and mystery is my daughters favorite spot to swim! We have even taken our kayaks out in the bay which is very calm water and perfect if you are just learning to paddle. Best part of course are the crab that are caught! Amenities Include -Boat launch $7 per day to launch -Mooring available $ depend on boat size -Picnic tables -Bathroom (2) -Parking -discovery pass required, $35 for one year -dock -swimming area -pet friendly

Jeff B: Very nice setting offering a variety of styles. We were offered a couple of extra samples just because the server thought we might be interested after having a conversation about our tastes. There was a variety of areas, inside and outside, to sit and enjoy a glass. Although a little pricey, the wines we tried were impressive.

Doug Andreassen: What a wonderful musuem that represents this beautiful Jefferson County. A very nice arts display will geet you in the "judges" chambers. It is worth your time and efforts to make this visit.

Shine Tidelands State Park - Port Ludlow

Minh Nguyen: Awesome spot for clams and oysters. If youre willing to walk up from the parking spot to where 7 sisters road is, the clams practically jump into your shovel and you can pick and shuck oysters at your leisure.

Caron Morton: Great wine, informative tasting with Michelle. Family owned, small operation with a good variety of wines. Be sure to ask about the design of the labels! Will be back for sure. Also a lovely setting. Loved it! Would be a great place for a picnic.
