5 /5 Jennifer Solheim: Amy is wonderful. Took some time to get in as a new client but she was worth the wait. Decided to get bangs. She listened to my concerns and gave me great solutions. She did my foils with great precision and covered my grays beautifully and very naturally. Color was on point! Had my second visit for touch up and she was just as precise. We decided on light layers for my super fine hair and she did not disappoint. Oh and the scalp massage was so relaxing and I felt pampered the whole time. I highly recommend Amy

She first gave me a phenomenal haircut then the next visit highlighted my hair without going to extreme (she was given full range to choose from). I am now a devoted client of hers but have moved my two children over to having her only cut their hair. Definitely recommend hands down!

2 /5 Megan Clark: I got a haircut here a while ago and was too anxious to put up a review until now. The stylist who did my hair just would not listen to my request. I requested a fairly simple cut, with bangs and layers (a cut I’ve had and enjoyed before) as I was just wanting to clean up from a previously grown out pixie. I went through the haircut and as we were getting closer to the end she still hadn’t done any layering or more than a very slight framing as the bangs. I showed her again my reference pictures and said it looks like there aren’t any layers. She insisted that I wouldn’t like layering and bangs, since it would be high maintenance and “would I do [styling] every day?”. I don’t like styling too much but my hair tends to naturally lay pretty nice so I don’t usually need to, and it’s my choice anyway and I was prepared for the adjustment. She kept insisting and said that if I didn’t like it in a few days I could come back and get it fixed up for free. Now sure, I could have gone back, and the haircut she gave wasn’t awful, just plain/boring and not what I asked for. But I shouldn’t have to take time out of my schedule to get what I originally wanted. I did stand up for myself and asked her to do the layers and bangs, which already should have been unnecessary, and even still she wouldn’t listen. The atmosphere of this place is very nice and I liked what I saw of the other stylists, but this stylist was very frustrating to work with and I left unhappy and having spent $70 on a cut style I didn’t ask for because “I wouldn’t like what I asked for”. Overall a negative experience and I won’t be returning.

5 /5 Beth Posner: Great experience! They were able to fit me in with less than a weeks notice (after my long planned haircut at a different place was cancelled last minute). Rob did a great job with my hair, gave me some great curls, and talked about options for quickie bang visits I can schedule in the future between cuts. Im very much looking forward to a future appointment where I can spend some extra time there to get some color with him. The salon is very cool with a lobby full of goodies that I need to spend more time looking at. During my cut, I loved looking at the live plants everywhere as they brought such a chill vibe. The location is ideal being right downtown and across from the Farmers Market which also means theres ample parking. With it being downtown I assumed the prices would be higher but they are very reasonable. Totally recommend!

Tweet Dreams: I have hesitated to write a review about this because I as a rule try to use google reviews as a positive outlet instead of passionate declarations of disappointment… that being said I have been going to this salon for a year and every single time Stephanie has failed to hear my needs as a client, if I say I want my hair to not be thinned using thinning sheers she will do it anyway if I ask her to not use her scissors as sheers she will do it anyway and color is a huge issue I went blonde and loved it initially but she used the thinning sheets and sure enough spit ends happened then each time I would go in she would act like she understood but so the same thing again. This feels personal and yet I can’t imagine what I have done besides try to communicate my Needs. We determined early on that we had little in common so for me I just sit quietly and try to just bring in photos of haircuts and color …. I will try to find a new person within your salon but it just cannot be her anymore

June Fun: Soon was amazing. My hair was totally fried from home dying. My hair was so bad I couldnt begin to brush it, style it, anything. I was afraid I was just going to have to cut most of my hair off. She did a keratin treatment that totally revived my hair. I can now brush and style it again. I am so impressed. I would totally recommend her to anyone.

hailie haubrick: Krista did my hair. I asked for a full foil icy blonde. But let’s start with her being an hour late. She was cool when she first got there after being an hour late. Once she started putting foils in my hair, she started getting crazy, nodding out, dropping several things, passed out while she was trying to reach for something. Krista was mumbling her words, and could barely even shampoo my hair with out spraying everything around me, including my daughter sitting next to me .when I asked the owner if this looked good, he responded ‘that definitely needs a new foil that’s not right at all’ Krista said it was fine and looked good and just what I asked for. NOT AT ALL WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE. I left upset and in tears I couldn’t sit there any longer, not to mention I was there for 3 hours and 45 minutes to get this outcome… I called the salon and talked to the owner about how ruined my hair was and he proceeded to tell me it’s not ruined we just need to fix it. I didn’t just spend 3 hours and 45 minutes here to fix my hair, for it to be ruined, fried, and very unhappy to go back for them to attempt to fix what they already messed up. 10/10 do not recommend.

Crystal McLaren: I do not live in Olympia, so about two months ago, I had extensions installed by someone (NOT Bri) in my hometown. They were not good quality and by the time move-up time came around, they were a mess. I desperately started calling places in the nearest "big city" and I found Bri (insert angel halo emoji here). Bri got me in on very short notice. She got my extensions out and we discussed what kind of cut I could do for my damaged hair. She ended up giving me the shortest hair Ive had in 30 years (collar bone length at my request) and it is so cute! I absolutely love it! She is wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable about various extensions and just everything! Definitely my go-to girl now! Also... Her pricing is reasonable, up front, and she doesnt nickel and dime you to death.
