Based on that, we went ahead with the treatment—only to get hit with a surprise bill for nearly $2,000 because, surprise, they don’t actually accept the insurance. To make things worse, they offered zero financial assistance after the fact. The only thing they had the nerve to offer was a $30 discount on an X-ray—after dropping a $2,000 bill on me. Honestly insulting. It’s not just on the patient to verify coverage—its half their responsibility too, especially when they’re the ones telling you they accept your insurance. At the very least, I should’ve been offered half off for their mistake. Instead, they’ve lost not just my trust, but two returning clients—myself and my partner.
