1 /5 Lia Ali: I am in utter disbelief and shock. I am in town visiting family and had a need to have my eyebrows threaded so went to Salon Envy as its the only location here that advertised to do eyebrow threading.
When I laid down, margarita said "theyre already thin so just a clean up?" I agreed and said "yes, just a clean up." Now, my eyebrows are light but not that thin nor in anyway difficult as they keep shape just need cleaning around the brow. I thought she knew what she was doing but that was simply not the case. Margarita did an atrocious job on my eyebrows and kept tugging at my skin and hairs, not the normal feeling for threading but assumed she still was perfecting the technique. I could have never imagined how wrong this could have gone. I was given the mirror and from an upside down view, they appeared thin and a section where it seemed to be a minor gap but at this point nothing else could be done, I didnt want her to "attempt" to fix and create a worse problem with my brows. I got in the car and looked closer and I audibly gasped. I did not know you could even create these mistakes with threading. My eyebrows are close to non-existent and the one on the left is incredibly butchered and damaged. Im not sure how this woman is still "threading" eyebrows doing such a messy job. Itās unbelievable.
While threading my eyebrows, Margarita was discussing with me that she attended training in California, etc., but I find that very difficult to believe whatsoever. Any training she received was not adequate in the least. She is unskilled, and thatās an understatement. This is the most awful thread job I have ever witnessed in my lifetime -- too bad its on my own eyebrows. I left there and went directly to buy serum and any other products to try to get these to look normal/grow out ASAP before my departure to the Middle East. What a nightmare! Do not let this woman touch your eyebrows.
